calls with a recorded message, when she started talking i hung up

Anyone else get a prerecorded message from "777-578-9111??  

I got one where the message said the following:

??Tax Relief Center.  If you owe ten thousand dollars or more in back taxes press one now.  We can lower your debt by as much as fifty percent today.  Don?t let the government garnish your wages.  It?s not too late to help yourself.  This is a one time end of the year special.  Press one now.  Please press two if you would like to be removed from the list.?

I pressed one, but didn't get connected to a live person.  If someone else received this message and pressed one, maybe they could post the name and telephone number of the company that they were connected with...

Got a phone call from this number today, All that was said on the message was "press 2 to unsubscribe" UNSUBSCRIBE TO WHAT???? And who is this? Yea, no idea. It makes me mad that I have my number on the Do Not Call Registry. WTF. Annoyed.

I personally don't have a mortgage either and got the "your mortgage lender has approved you . . ." message while driving the car.  After disconnecting the call, I was sorry to not have pressed 1 so I could have found out who they are.  I'm a realtor and recognized this for what it is -- a scam.  Would like to know who they are and report them to their state's attorney general.  Too many people continue to fall for these schemes and fork over hard-earned money thinking the scumbags are going to put an end to their foreclosure or near foreclosure status.  Instead they are robbed of their money.

Dman:  You're absolutely right and if it had been a legitimate call, they would have known your first, last name, city, etc.

Message said to press 2 or refuse like the others. Sounded incomplete, will not return call.

Call me, I pressed 1 the guy told me he worked with my mortgage co, needed some info and he would transfer me to debt people if I quilified, asked me how much I owed on house my interest rate and first last name city i reside in. said he was going to transfer me and I got hung up on. scam I'm  sure never give any personal stuff out

Yep.. I personally don't have a mortgage, but the message given says my mortgage lender approved them to contact me to lower my rates...
  I clicked to talk to an "agent"... just to let them know their automated caller dialed my number which is listed on both the Georgia and national do-not-call registry, and that they are in federal violation by calling me.

    they hung-up on me.. hope they get hit with some huge fines...

Caller left message on my cell phone, could not understand what they were saying. very poor english.

Calls my corporate phone offering me a lower mortgage rate...  I don't have a mortgage, and asked them to stop calling.  He asked if there was a better time.  I told him again, "I don't have a mortgage, and I'm not interested." Again he asked when he could call back.. Finally I got mean to him, and his last words prior to hanging up on me were, "I will try again tomorrow".
