Just now (13:47 march 17th 2011) I got a call from this number, an Indian sounding lady said

"I am calling from the uk data cantre and don't worry I'm not trying to sell you anything, I'm conducting a lifestyle survey which takes about one Minuit and is just yes no questions, are you ok with this?"

While still on the phone I searched online for UK  data centre and could not find anything that appeared to be related, I told her this and that over the last 10 days I have had numerous calls from a 0000000000 number and international numbers that have been silent and "I am going to have to end this call, remove my number from your list" she just said "good bye"

For about two weeks now we have been getting calls from this and 00000000000, today is the first time I caught this number before the answering machine got it, the 0000000000 has rang us maybe 16-20 times, only once did I hear callcentre background noise and I totally lost my rag, still got calls later the same day.

Neither of us have registered the house number with any service this year as the home phone is just for family and friends.

It all sounded like the last internation call I answered an india guy saying he had $100 of GASOLINE vouchers and needed all my details to send them to me, being in the UK using £s and PETROL this sent bells ringing.

Rings several times a day, answered once, sounds like a call centre of some sort. Still keeps ringing back

Has called 9 times today already, calls started about a week ago, one or two a day and have now got to this amount.  Absolute silence at the other end.

Several calls per day for the last few weeks from this number, no one speaks and when I say hello they hang up.

Further to the above post, despite me explaining the person doesn't live here, I'm still being stalked by this phone number, and have just has another call from it - I tried to call it back but can't get through to anyone.  Have reported the number to Ofcom and would advise anyone else having this problem to do the same.

Number has called several times a day every weekday for past two weeks, but whenever I answered nobody spoke to me, until today, when a man asked to speak to the person who previously lived at my house.  When I told them they don't live here anymore, they hung up without another word.  This is worrying because my telephone number was brought with me from my old address, so how was my own phone number connected to the person who lived here before me?  Whoever this company or person calling is they are clearly very unprofessional and don't even have basic courtesy to say who they are when they ring people.  Also silent calls are being made to others by the looks of the posts on this site - they need to be stopped.  How do I get my number removed from their database?

Calls 5 times a day. No message left and no resonce. Very anoying with a baby in the house!!!!
