It is still happening. Now the number is 604 670 6694. The entire BC for prosperity is just a front for money scam. They ask for donations. I have reported them as fraudulent to the RCMP. Somebody had to do it

Repeated calls to my cell including one this morning at 4am! Beginning to pissme off and my cell # has been registered on the no call list so WTF!

They called me at 4am... I obviously didn't answer. I have txt it and no reply

They phoned me at 10 last night

Got the Fxxk call in the early moring 3:30 a.m. and call back n say "Fxxk GMI....." and can be reached by 604-283 2282.  Call the Fxxk 604-283 2282 just answering machine. say "Fxxk GMI.... in North Vancvouer V7M 4M0"

3:56am this morning....

Woke me up and I just hit reject. Couldn't believe it was 3:38am PST. That's a new low for spam calls.

They called me at 4am and left no message.. Wtf they are drinks.

Phoned at 4am!!!!! Picked up no answer. Currently away and pissed

They just called me at 3:30 am. Wtf!

Received a call from this number 5 mins ago, at 955pm pst. I answered and there was no response. I called back since I have free evenings. The line was busy twice. I called again and the number is 'not assigned' all of a sudden.  

Just got a call from them, pressed
Ignore and they called right back. Pressed ignore again. Pressed redial: "this number is not assigned".

A***OLES!! It's 9:53 at *ucking night time

I did not pick up nor did they leave a message.

GMI on behalf of the gov't for resource survey

My cell rang.  Display read 778-655-1700.  I answered and said "Hello".  Male caller said something I did  not understand.  I asked, "What is your name and how did you obtain my private cell number."  He hesitated which gave me time to put on my ear muffs to protect my hearing and then blow my air horn for 2 seconds, after which I said "Have a good day. Goodbye."  For whatever reason these guys never call me again.

Just got a call from this number. I usually never pick up unknown numbers, but answered this time. I heard nothing on the other end but faint static...I hung up after a few seconds.

I go for lunch now

They called my cell phone when it was turned off and left a voice message.    It was the standard "You have won two tickets on a trip to the Caribbean" scam.     Just press 1 to take a survey (give up your credit card number and PIN, no doubt) and then you'll get your tickets.    Otherwise press 9 and you'll be put on a list of suckers and be pestered by these calls until you change your number.    

I used to get these calls only on my home phone which I don't answer unless I recognize the number or name in the call display.    Usually they give up when nobody answers but I guess their machines can't recognize the difference between being shunted to voice mail and somebody picking up.

Just got a call, didn't pick up.

Left message on my voicemail starting with "On behalf of the BC Government...."  It said it was a survey to find out how you like what the BC Government has done in the past several years.

Called me, and since I don't answer Private Numbers, I let it go to voice mail. They didn't leave a message. This is the 2nd or 3rd time this number has come up on my phone in the past week or so. Will be blocking them now.

it is in survey service called GMI, calling about the conditios in the province of British Columbia. Probably hired by the government of British Columbia. Checking to see if the peons are happy with how the political apparatchiks are wasting our money.
