this number called my job phone & the man's ascent was so strong that i could not understand what he was saying. i asked him who he was and he had my number, he claimed that i was being sued but i have no law suits against me. somehow he has the last four of my social. do not give these people any information. i am still unsure of exactly who they are. when i called the number back i barely got a responce and a rude lady answered the phone and threw me on hold.

He has called my mom and called her at work yesterday and when she asked questions they hung up! Please help!

My mother did the same thing and they just called her yesterday about this.. If there is anything we can do let me know!

I can't believe that I fell for something like this.  We applied for a payday loan and received which was paid in full.  I have received 3 calls as of yesterday on my cell phone and my husband received one while at work.  When he tried to call them back all he got was a voice message service.  The same went for me as well, the call went to a voice message service.  When I first listened to the message I could not hardly understand what the individual was saying.  This person was male and had a very, very heavy accent. Was definaetly foreign. About all that I could understand was legal this and call back, time is important, was having criminal charges brought against social security number. That we would be jailed, if we were in a vehicle and were stopped that we would be arrested adn our children would be taken away.  Very scarey as I was in tears.  I have received calls from 2 different places and it wasnt until I got the call from the 2nd place that I became skeptical.  The 1st company had me going hook line and sinker and I am out close to $700 dollars from what I figure.  i was quite rude and frank with them when they called and they gave me a deadline of January 12th to remit to them a certain amount of money and if I didnt the legal action would ensue. I had up until that point followed through with what they demanded.  When I got these future calls is when I got leery and took the numbers and information into an atorneys office.  They in turn tried to call and got as far as I did.  A voice message service. Then in turn googled the number that I was given and it pulled up this site.  I am just sick to my stomach that I am out this money.    I will leave this information for anyone as to what I have here.  I am going to persue this as far as I can take it.  The information will be below.

Like I said I know now that we have been scammed and are probably going to be out the money that I have already sent.  Hopefully somewhere down the line we can get ahold of these people and hold them responsible for the turmoil that they are causing to so many people.

I never took one out either. I believe this is where they took our info from. I did the same exact thing, applied for a payday loan.

I have been on the phone with these people all morning. They called me and left a voice male for me to call them back and if I didn't "good luck to you." I am glad I researched this before I gave them a payment. This is ridiculous! I can't believe how they can get my information like this! Totally can not believe this! I am just hoping that they are not able to take me to court for something that I did not do.!.

A man called my job from a blocked# but left this # (760) 563-2835, he had a VERY strong accent. Male said his name was Allen Scott from Customer Affairs. Said there was a lawsuit/violation in progress but I asked him simple questions he could not answer them. This is definately a scam. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received call just like you. I called sheriffs office in California ( I live in PA) and gave them info. Hopefully they will do something about it. The person I talked to at the "attorney's" office  saif her name was Angela Anderson. She had a very thick accent. They hung up on me when I started questioning them and now are not even answering my phone calls. Do not verify SSN. I am now calling my local police to make a complaint. I had applied for a pay day loan recently but never actually took one out.

This number called my cell saying they were taking me to court for an unpaid pay day loan. I told him I dont have any payday loans and I don't owe anyone anything because I had just filed bankruptcy. I told him he was a scam and he isn't getting sh*t from me. He went as far as to call my work and leave a message there as well.

They called and asked that I or my dependant call them back. His name was Mark Adams.

Rec'd phone call this morning at 8:15 am central time from a 915 area code number, gentleman asking if this was Judith and giving me the last 4 digits of my social, I stated yes, then he went on to say that he needed to place me on hold, while he got his supervisor, this man had a thick accent and very hard to understand. After being on hold for a bit, another man came on saying he was Sam Wilson and I needed to immediately call him on this number, called him right back at number given just to get another man on the line cursing at me and saying things that I could not understand, not allowing me to explain that i was returning a call to a Sam Wilson. I hung up on him. I then rec'd another 3 calls from same number, which a gentleman by the name of Ricky Marshall left message stating I needed to return  his call for a legal matter and that is was in my best interest. Tried calling back immediately 3 different times just to find out that I got voicemail stating that "Voicemail was not set up for messages" or "please try your call later".
What are people to do w/calls like this. This is very scary. These calles need to be caught.

They called me today and told me that they were suing me for not repaying a cash advance loan and that I was criminally being charged with several different counts such as theft by deception and worthless checks and submitting false information to the federal banking systems etc. etc. They would not give me a name of a company until I continued to ask and ask and then they said Easy Cash and hung up on me.  When I called them back and nicely stated that we got disconnected they told me "no, I hung up on your face!"  They knew where I worked, my social security number and other personal information.  They were scary and threatening and said they were "the attorneys of record" and that I needed to have my attorneys contact them and that my world was going to collapse around me if I didn't comply. They said that they had a right to call my work and that I should let my work know that they will be calling them soon to inform them that I am a thief?!?!
When I told them that I could very easily through simple bank statements prove that this "financial obligation" was not valid they said "you dont have to prove it to me, I am not judge and jury, you have to prove it to them!" The man said his name was Joe Brown and had a strong W. Indian?? accent and when I called them back it sounded like the same person trying to sound like a different person.  They were very difficult to understand.  
I don't understand what this could be and how they could get away with this.  I had my attorney call them back and when he stated that he was my attorney they hung up on him.  
My husband called and told them never to call me again on a voicemail.  They wont answer my calls now. I am not sure what else to do and fear because of the amount of personal info they have.

You can hear people in the back ground snickering and giggling, they somehow have limited information as to social security numbers work and home phone numbers and are trying to scam people out of money with multiple scams.  Everything from your being sued, too you have a loan thats overdue.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY ADDITIONAL INFO or MONEY for that matter.  Maybe call them a few times, I did that and they got upset quickly, putting me on hold and various positions of authority.  Everyone had an accent and they would not give out any information...odd they want info, but not want to give any.

They called me today and I reported them to the Department of Justice. They told me I was being sued.

They had my first and last name and the last 4 digits of my Social. The only thing I can think of, is I applied (by mistake) to a loan place. I thought it was something totally different. I was wondering if anyone else applied for anything unusual in the past few months. Maybe we can catch them?

Calling from a lawyers office, they told me I was being sued by the Federal Registration Department of Justice. Thick Indian accent, I could barely understand him. He had my last 4 digits of my SSN. He called me 5 times, he kept asking why I was hanging up on him.
Told me the Lawyers name is Richard Parker.
Richard Parker sounded exactly like the Indian guy.

how do you stop these people from calling

This person called and said they were the legal department of customer affair businesses and said that my husband was facing legal charges against him and when we tried to find out what company was pressing charges against him they could not tell us and then we told them we have a criminal attorney to handle whatever this is they hung up.  We can not find this company anywhere in the data base and feel this is a scam.  They said they would take some money now over the phone to stop charges.

Could not understand very well @ all, the man had a distinct foreign accent. I think I heard, " I'm looking for a Tanya Moschetti, we have a package here we need to send you, there's a limited time you have to call us back regarding this package, & if you don't, all I can say is, "Good Luck to you""
