I receeived an incoming recorded message from this number. It was in spanish.  I waited for a customer service agent to come on the line and to request removal of my telephone number from their database- but after waiting a minute. the line was disconnected.

Same thing. Spanish Calls 3 to 4 times a day. Won't Stop. Laugh at me when i call them a spanish dirty word.

Same problem as everyone else. I'm surprised they have this much time to call people. They don't seem to want anything, and repeat "Bueno?" over and over. They never leave a message. My phone says it's from British Columbia, but I've also gotten the same call with the same voice from id 502240632357 and 250-984-7189. As if these calls are being routed through other numbers for some reason.

While I was at work, I got a phone call from this number left on my caller ID. I've had a problem with a scammer calling from Jamaica using his cell phone wanting to give me everything from a million dollara to a new Mercedes. Since I know it is a scam, I stopped answering that number. Now he is using this number and other numberr to reroute his calls thinking I'll answer and he can start his scam. What is with this people? Can't they take a hint?

i just received a call from that same number, but i didnt answer. They left a message which was a girl talking in spanish. All she said was her name, which i couldnt make out, and saying "she misses me". Weird

I got two calls with this number on the caller ID.  I knew the caller.  They were calling on a Verizon cell phone from FL and their cell phone area code is 317.  The 778 785-0625 apparently comes off of a cell phone tower somewhere - a bounce maybe - because anything is possible to come in with that number.  My caller had no idea why that was showing up.

I was expecting a phone call from my husband when this unknown number appeared on my caller ID.  It was after 10 pm and I answered it.  It was my husband from his cell phone and the connection had an echoing sound.  We only talked for a minute, he hung up and called me back.  This time the caller ID had his correct number, and the call sounded normal.  Is it possible that this call was being overheard by others?  Is that why it sounded so strange?
I am confused as to how his number gets re-routed or whatever.  Can anyone give me any insight into this strange occurance.  The same thing happened about 6 days prior to this, but I did not look up the number as I thought it was a fluke. I don't even remember the area code of that number, but as this has happened 2 times now, I am concerned.

These are SCUMBAG TELEMARKETERS, I have been getting calls from them constantly for the last 3 days, I finally answered and was left in limbo while the computer transferred the call to an IDIOT that pretended that he knew me.  I hung up, I attempted to call back and the number is not a working number.  TELEMARKETER SCUM/SCAM ARTISTS

This call in from the American Nicaraguan Foundation. They are a very legit organization. I had a similar problem when the call came in the first time and then I tried to call back on it. I was actually able to have a conversation with them. They were calling to offer assistance, not to solicit anything from us. I just recieved 8-10 calls one right after the other. I tried answering and nothing... I also did a reverse lookup and found the same info as others have posted,,,

i missed a call (actually, 2 back-to-back calls) from this number. they didn't leave a message. hope its not a scam, but i'm not calling the number back to risk it.

I sold an item on ebay. Possible scam but the buyer is from Guatamala.  She has called me 3 times. 2 times the caller id shows 502 2369 1819. The last call was from 778 785 0625. I've tried to call back on both numbers, no luck.  I can't tell if this is a scam or real people trying to call out of Guatamala.

East Indian-sounding guy suggesting that I'm eligible for a Gov't Grant of 15, 000$...he just needed my checking account # and routing number to put the money in my acount...complete BS...if you ask me...probably some kind of Nigerian scam knock-off...I just like to let them babbble on and on and on...then ask them to repeat it from the beginning... :)  I wouldn't trust a damn thing these people say...you probably shouldn't either...if you're smart....

502 is the international code for Guatemala. My guess is you got call from Guatemala since not only is that the intl. code, but it also has 8 numbers.

My best guess is that this number is a route number, that is a number used by telephone companies to connect international calls. Most connection "route" numbers come from BC in my experience.

If the phone continues to ring excessively, it's just the caller or line attempting to establish a connection, so while you may hear your phone ringing, they do not get a dial tone.

If you don't know anyone that can possibly be calling you internationally, then simply ignore the calls, they eventually get the hint.

my sister just called from a friends's cell phone, she's in Guatamala. my caller ID read: 778-785-0625.

Called twice today about an hour apart.  I tried to phone this number back, but it 'could not be completed as dialed', though of course I had dialed the number properly with the 1 and area code, etc.  I phoned Bell Canada at the helpful number above provided by someone else, and spoke with a representative in Toronto. She has reported this number to their Abuse department, but we shall see what kind of follow up there will actually be.  Canada likely does not have a Do Not Call list, or if they do, it would not be the same as one in the USA as they don't have to comply with the same rules and regulations as enacted by our Government so any DNC list you are on here in the USA would likely not be passed on to another country.

I've gotten multiple calls from 778-785-0625, 50240403700, and 50245123036
recently, many in the middle of the night.  This is on a cell phone on
which I have never before received such spam calls.  I finally answered,
said, "Stop calling me.  Remove my number from your list.  This is harassment."  A woman said a brief sentence in Spanish back and hung up.

I have a theory as to why this has started: I just put my phone number
on the "Do Not Call Registry".  Looks to me like they read that list and
call the numbers on it.  Perfect.

I'd like to know whether the people who have called 416-848-2000 have
gotten any results - still getting the spam calls?
