Text message about Hookupsconnect.com  -- sent as though it was a message to someone named Jeremy.  I was going to respond and say "wrong text number" when I decided to check here first.  Glad I didn't respond.  Wish I could block texts.

I have Telus...this is the second message like this I have gotten...didn't check the first number but it came from someone who identified himself as Jeff, which actually made me stop and think because I used to date a guy named Jeff who would totally do something like that....tonight's message came from Fernando

Second text message from this company in two weeks. The first one came in late at night when I was in bed. My wife checked the phone and fortunately she knows that I don't use the name Bryan as an alias. This company has no idea of the problem they cause, they obviously dont care.

I got the same message.  and they're really sneaky about it....by saying "do you still need a ride" if they get in trouble they can turn around and say that the text was sent in error.  dang f**kers!

These messages are unsolicited and there ought to be a law!

Same text, ezcasuals site, I use koodo, I did reply cuz I'm a chick and it called me MARVIN! No problems as of yet. I'm having that # traced and shut down in the morning tomorrow, along with the website nnames mentioned here. Anyone who DID
reply should call their own providers to ensure no extra charges or anything have occurred. Everyone can report the number to their carriers to have it blocked

 Canada-Hookup.C OM (spelled exactly that way).  Asking, "Do u still need a ride?" I almost fell for it and almost telephoned him back to say he had a wrong number, but thought it could be spam, and sure enough you are all others who've been spammed by him.
 It's possibly the hookup company advertising themselves but I couldn't find a website with that spelling.

 In case it helps, my cell phone is with Telus.
