I just got one today.  They think they are so slick.  What can I do to help catch this guy?

I also got the same letter for the second time, I didn't bite this time either.Something needs to be done

i got a check and a letter also and i called and no not in service anymore so it got to be a scam but i wish it was true cuz i sure could use the money rite now....peoples like that need quit puttin peoples hopes up thinking they getting money free....i still got check and i'm letting lawer and bank cheching it out.....i'm not a blond and not stuipd go for these scam.....

I got a check for $4,250.00 form Edgewater - Don Wakefield.  When I tried to call him - the message said "this customer is not currently available."  Customer?  I thought he was an "assigned claims agent."  So this is a scam right?

I have not only received a letter but a check also. It is for $3,550.00 to "cover the taxes on my winnings". They (Don Wakefield) wants me to deposit the check and call him as soon as I do. At that point they will send me the balance of my winnings which have come from a drawing from one of the sales receipts when I was shopping at one of the stores that participated in this "thng".  I would love for it to be true, but I guess if it's too good to be true, it usually is. I am making an appointment with an attorney to check this out.

Just let it be known that nothing gets pass GOD and people who do these kind of things will answer to Him one day!!!!

Got another call from Kingston Jamaicia this guy was so aggressive about telling me how I had this money comeing to me then he got really MAD and told me to shut up Well I told him a few thing too. got 1 of 2 call from Kingston just another scam to watch out!

got the same check and letter the letter looked like they ran them off of a cheap printer...I didn't bite at the offer but I'm naot finished with this.

Hello i dont know you,but im thinking you feel about the same way i feel.I mean it feels very good 2 wake up and find out that your 170,000 dollars richer!!!not knowing that your about 2 be lot broker if our banks would have deposited these fony checks!!!!!!Imean who would hire these type of people.This goes farther than just DON WAKEFEILD,LINDA ROSS,OR KATE SAINT!!!!!!!AND SOMETHING HAS 2 GIVE!!!!!!!

How do we know this is a scam???

Well your sent me a check but the bank said they couldnt cash the check with the wrong address on the check and i talk to don wakefield amd he said to doposit it in to my account  but bank said no.

Received a 'check' from a company called Edgewater Financial Service Inc.     Instructions in letter told me to call this number and speak with a "claims agent" to arrange delivery of my winnings of $170,000.   Yeah, Right!    This is clearly a scam and merely a poor attempt to get me to deposit this 'check' and obtain my banking info.    

DO NOT DEPOSIT a check unless you absolutely know who has sent it to you, and what it is for!
