No message left. Cannot identify who it is. Phone company claims phone number not hooked up.

This number called I called it back to find out who it was and possibly go on a do not call list and the machine said it was a number not yet hooked up to a system.

got a call at 1805 hrs tonight and the guy was a loud talker who said his name was Don and he was calling from Bell Aviva (could not place the accent, but it was pretty thick).  Since I think Aviva is an insurance company and I thought he perhaps meant Bell Axia, I just told him I had no need of anything from either entity and hung up.

Agent claimed he was from Bell Solo and I qualified for a free phone. I said I wasn't interested and he just hung up.

wait until your locked into a 3 year contact lol!   I missed the call from that number, and i called it back and the number was not assigned (cellular number)

Went on and on about how they needed my address to ship me a free phone and after that claimed they needed my social insurance number as a password...Hung up after that. Feel stupid for not hanging up earlier, but I feel bad for telemarketers. And they did say they could give me a number/website to confirm their existence but it still seemed sketchy.

the person on the line said they were from Bell and that my number was eligible for a free phone if i signed up for a different plan that was way worse than the one i'm currently on.

Just got call fomr the number and the guy said it was bell mobilty and your number was been selected to win a free cell phone. I just said f off and hung up.

Picked up the phone with this number on the call display, no one there but could here numerous telemarketer in the back ground!

This is actually not a scam, i contacted Bell Solo directly (the person who contacted me give me their number, which i did not call without first looking into bell solo, and was in fact their #)

The 780-253-5353 is a dealer that works on behalf of Bell Solo...

I keep getting calls on my home phone, now on my cell phone, from bell mobility.  THIS IS NOT BELL MOBILITY!!! it IS a SCAM and don't EVER give your SIN to ANYBODY but an employer and CRA.

There are ways to find out if its a scam or not, you should be able to call the number on your call display back, last time i said that they stopped calling my home phone, but today it started on my cell.

They have called twice and I missed the call both times. They did not leave a message. After investigating the number, found it to be a "scam".

This is a major scam! They tell you you get a free phone and part of the info they need is your social insurance number! Well screw that I know for a fact no company besides a employer needs that! This number really should be banned and let bell know about it.

Man form India for sure. There was time lag as we spoke, and he was speaking softly. He said he was calling from Telus (as we are using telus for internet and tv) and that we had a lucky number for us to get a great plan. $25 a month with unlimited texting around the world...who cares. And a samsung phone free. etc etc. I am assuming this will be a spam, but I asked them to call back at 3:00 which is in 3 hours...so we'll see. Is it long distance if I call back the number they called me with?

Caller with heavy Pakistani/Indian accent ID'd himself to my wife as "from Bell Mobility". When I asked him what he was selling he said something about a "free cell phone". I told him I already had a cell phone (with Bell Mobility, BTW). He said OK and then Good-bye.

I find it a little curious that someone from my carrier company would be offering a free cell phone (not an "upgrade") and then go away without changing his 'pitch'.

I'll be taking this up with Bell later.

they say they are calling from bell canada (calgary) but the phone number is Edmonton area code and it sounds like a call center from INDIA everyone in the background was speaking a different language and the gentleman that I was speaking with could not answer my questions then hung up.

After having to say 'hello' two or three times, the caller finally identified himself as Bell Mobility, but I had to ask him to repeat himself as he was not understandable. When I said I was on a no-call list and he was breaking the law, he hung up.

When I answered I got an automated voice message that said "Good-bye" and then hung up.

So did I.
