I am in Alberta and these clowns call from fake or overseas numbers. Only reason I found out this number is because I left a note saying I'm interested in debt reduction and they called me back.

Go have fun at it and waste their time. Wouldn't it be funny if I hire a robo-caller and bombard them with random advertising?

Got a call from this number about a half hour ago. Have since tried to block it every way imaginable but keep getting the same recorded message from Shaw... "number is unavailable". Not the first time these TURDS have not let me block a nuisance caller.

Not true Ron. Called five minutes ago. Shaw will not let me block this number, not even by manually doing it myself never mind #01#. Just keep getting auto msg. stating the number is "not available". Not the first number Shaw has responded  like this on a number I tried to block.

I got calls from this idiotic number from the 403 area code and then from the 780 area code. I also got tons and tons of calls from 780-669-2115.

You're right it is the same scam ! Possibly a different bunch of scammers but what can they do if other crooks steal their scam ? Complain to the Police ? Sue them? lol

Shaw lets you block the number no problem :) .  Government program telemarketer or scammer ... Either way can all go F*$K Themselves.  I will keep blocking them and if nothing is done I will get rid of my home phone all together.  Maybe if they start losing business the phone companies will force the police to do something about it :).  anyways just my 2 cents.

If you're on shaw just block the number then they won' call back again :) Problem solved took me 30 seconds on the website.  It's probaly one of those scam garbage ones or else it's one of those retarded survey companies that can all GO F*@K Themselves.

Called the number back using *67 to block my name and number.  Telus message said that the cellular number is not assigned.  WTF?

Let it go to voice mail, message said "How much debt do you have".  Press "1" if.....damn scam from Debt Solutions.  Probably trying to steal information.

New Government program recording. But only 3 people in the world have my home phone number so I'm guessing that it was given out by the National Bank that I recently attained an ATV loan from. So much for the Privacy Law that is preached and not practiced.

This number has already called too many times. Sometimes i think it is useless to be writing these reports because it is obvious that nothing is done to prevent this annoyance. The existence of the so called " DO NOT CALL" list seems to be a lollypop handed to the public since it does not matter whether you register a number or not. The same number continues popping up. If the authorities or the phone company does not plan to do anything it would better and more honest they say so. It would save us the time we spend complaining.

Whenever you ask the representatives who they are, they hang up. Obviously a scam.

Received a call from 1-780-254-2398 and pressed 1 to talk to a rep.  They claim they can (through their lawyers) get your debt reduced so you only have to pay between 15 to 30 % of what you owe.  Which would mean if your debt were $10,000 you would only have to pay back $1,500 to $3,000.  I told them I would have to call them back and the person I was talking to gave this number to call him back 1-877-691-0989 extension 108.  If you look up that number it all comes up in Chinese.  SCAM SCAM SCAM.  DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY PERSONAL OR FINANCIAL INFO.

Winnipeg, 5:11 pm.  From Alberta area code.  A recording saying "the government can save you money if you are in debt......."  I Pressed the # key and hung up.  When will this stop?  Don't we have DO NOT CALL laws in Canada?

received daily calls from this number and would like to have them stop phoning me. mssg aways begins with " the government can save you money" tried punching in the no. 1 and someone answered and when i asked them to stop calling me they hung up.

They finally left a message that I could get $ 10,000.00 .

SOME ONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO TRACK DOWN THIS ANNOYANCE AND GET RID OF IT.

Pressing 2 (or any other number) to be removed only alerts them to the fact that you are home at that time. Expect more calls.

This number keeps calling and it is impossible to stop it

this will be the last time this # will ring my phones.... I set my telemarketer bouncer to reject this # (just like all the rest I have set to reject)... that is to say... all future calls from this # will be picked up and hung-up immediately, without a single phone in the house ringing.... revenge of this type is so sweet it makes me feel like telling them bring on all the calls you want.... hehel!!!

I pressed 1 to talk to someone when I said not interested take our number off your list the man said uhhum... then hung up.
