Hey I just got 3 times call from this number and I tried to do back call, nobody answer it n when I looked here, i am surpreised that what is goin on.

I just got a call from this number today and he claimed that he was looking for Shawn or Chris and that the Helicopter have found him. He was really mad that i wasnt this Shawn or Chris and told me that he heard that i joined the army recently. I told him that i am in sales and asked me if i was sure...
This forum has cleared up what is going on. kind of entertaining!

I also have been receiving phone calls from this number for the past 2 months now since Nov 2012 mostly around 7-8pm,  he claims that his name is Gilbert and he plays the piano and wants to play for the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, I advised him not to call again... Till I later investigated more and I can see that the number is from Alberta Hospital which makes a lot more sense

Alberta Hospital, psychiatric unit.  If you don't know anyone in there, it's just a wrong # dialed by a patient.

My friend is in there.  As others noted, Alberta Hospital, though "GRRRR" has clarified better for me which unit...
If you get calls from this # & it isn't from anyone you know, could be a patient randomly or mistakenly dialing.  It's not telemarketing or spam-calls... just unfortunate people in need of mental help & looking for someone -- real or imagined -- to talk to.

YES, IT COMES FROM ALBERTA HOSPITAL. DON'T PANIC- THAT IS THE CLIENT COMMUNITY LINE. YOUR TURN COULD BE NEXT. I HAVE A RELATIVE THERE.

Further tracking of this number and call display ("Unit 10-1")  shows that it is indeed the "acute adult pschyiatric unit" of Alberta (Mental) Hospital on the north side of Edmonton, Alberta......change my nom de plume to Brrrrr  from Grrrrrr (sound of music from the movie Psycho playing loudly in the background)......

I got this guy also who left some long rambling messages on my telus messaging service.

He sounds drugged up and/or mentally ill

I finally answered one of his calls and told him not to call back because he had the wrong number

A few minutes later he called back and I told him again...so far no more calls.

Called me 6 times in the early morning, each time with a series of beeps (a fax machine?).

I looked it up on another forum, it seems it is a community phone at Alberta Mental Hospital.

I got a call from this number & received a message from a friend staying in Alberta Hospital.  It's a community phone everybody uses.

I received a call from the same number tonight.  Said I didn't know whom I was speaking to.  The caller answered with I don't know who I'm speaking to either, but I've heard your voice a lot.  I hung up.  Called the number back and it simply rang with no answer.

i know someone in a mental hospital as well and got a call from that number. no one answered when i answered and didn't answer when i called back.. same as tess. perhaps there is some kind of connection ??
