Got a phone call from this number around 7pm. The woman said she was from BBMI Canada doing research for some purpose which I did not understand. She asked me if I was watching tv or listening to radio when she called. Then she explained that my phone call may be monitored and that the questionnaire would take very little time. She asked me about my internet connection, my cable provider, the number of flat screen TVs in my house. She asked about the number of people living in the house and in what age and their sex and then verified my address and thanked me.
I feel taken advantage of because BBMI doesn't exist as I found our later and she spoiled the good conversation I was having with my parents at the time. I feel like these people use the information I gave them to make more annoying phone calls to steal your personal information. In no part of the conversation did this woman allow me to say what I wanted to say or tell her that I did not want to participate in the questionnaire. She also asked me whether I was moving in the next 3 months.
I hope this bi*** bleeds from her ears.

I have been getting calls from this number for the past several days.  I just tried calling them back and it says the number is no longer in service.  Who does this? and who is allowing these people to get away with it. Seriously, this is ridiculous, the next time they call I'm answering and telling them to F*CK right off!

Got a call 7:38 from this #. It's an Edmonton #, or seems like one. Same MO, not in service.

Yeah, Edmonton area call marked "PRIVATE",,,I never answer it but whoever is calling could leave a message...they never do.  Should be a special place in hell reserved for these callers.

Just got a call from this number, and the man "Justin" claimed to be from Windows Online Help Service and directed me to go to my computer. He insisted that he could "fix my error reports". Being that I don't have Windows....

This # called my home and i called it back but the # is not valide.... How cat it be if they are able to call???

Received call at 7:30 am, something to do with lowering my calling rate. I asked if they realized what time it was, the said it 7:45 and tried to continue on. I told them were to go and hung up. I have also placed a complaint with the CRTC. So not impressed as i am not well and had a crap night last night.

this number called the other night, I made the mistake of answering it it was a woman saying that my computer was not working properly and they wanted to scan my computer and their software would fix it.
I told them my computer was fine and I was not interested 3 times but they continued to badger me so I hung up. Reading the Edmonton Sun there was a story about a similar fraud these people call and whoever lets them scan their computer they take all of your banking information and they will ask you for a credit card for payment or a wire transfer. The minimum that people loose is $500.00 and they will try and take out a credit card in your name.
I am so happy I hung up the phone.

I keep getting calls from this number too and it sounds like a tiger if you are with telus use the call blocking feature *60 and they won't call anymore.

Called me this evening...didnt answer. Will see if they call again...

Called my wife saying that he was from Microsoft and we had faulty software.  She said she thought it was a scam and hung up politely.  He called back and started hitting on her.  I got on the phone and he hung up.

Received a call today from this number and when I attempted to call it back I received an out of service recording. Rule of Thumb: I do not answer calls from numbers I don't know - if it's important enough they will leave a message with a name and number.

This number called me today at 6:51 am. I did not answer it in time and when I tried to call back, was told that there was no such number.

To those who have received calls from this number as a missed call. That is done purposely so they know your number is active

Missed call from this number at 8:30 this evening. Also had someone call me at noon trying to offer a solo mobile contract...that number was 975 986 2435.

They keep calling me claiming to be telus mobility and offering a cell phone. Obviously a scam

Just received call from this number; I answered and man on other end called me by name.  He claimed to be calling on behalf of Windows, and wanted information in regard to my computer.  He claimed there were files of a suspicious nature (viruses) and asked me to log on and provide him information.  When asked again who he was calling on behalf of, stated Windows.  I told him that IF, and that's a very big if, I had problems with my computer, I would seek out my own solutions.  I also told him I had very good security (to which he claimed was not good enough..!!), and would not provide him with any information.  When I asked the Company name he was calling on behalf of, he hung up...

Don't fall for this obvious scam..!!

Got a call from this number and could hear breathing but no one speaking then the line went dead. Very scary since I am being stalked by an ex and have changed all my numbers, jobs, friends, etc to avoid him. If I get it again, I am calling the police.

They just called me too, I didn't answer. I hope they don't start up with calling me a lot.

I received a call from this number saying (in an offshore accent) that they were coducting a credit review.  i told them I hadn't requested credit from anyone.  i asked who (I had authorized) for a credit search but was told that they couldn't reveal the name.  Seriously - I told them that this is quite improper and hung up.
