Called a few days before the election

On April 12, 2011 at 7:23 MDT, I got a call from this number. Somebody named Rob Fox, or so it sounded to me, said I was being connected to a live town hall meeting to discuss my "problems." I'd be connected to a toll free number. Then I heard a political discussion which sounded like it was sponsored by the Liberal Party of Canada. It may have been that I tuned into their section of the town hall meeting or it might have been a deliberate ploy to get me to listen to their political views. I listened for a few minutes and then hung up. I didn't ask to be put on ANY town hall meeting and I resent having my evening disturbed by what I thought was a call from the nearby City of Edmonton, Alberta. If I want to find out about any political party in the upcoming Canadian election, I merely have to use Google.

I tried calling the number back and it says the number is not in use. I would imagine it is a scam if you do manage to answer it.
It is also illegal for them to be calling me as i am on the national do not call list and in order for them to be calling me legally, the number on my call display has to be a number i can call back.
i hope to catch this call next time and see what it is.

Liberal Party of Canada. Left a two minute long message. Spam as far as I'm concerned.
