I also got a call from motorvehiclesonline.  I gave them 299.00 to sell my camper. They claimed they had several buyers waiting to buy it.  They said that if it didn't sell after 3 months, they would refund my $299.00.  I called them 3 days after they took my money and told them I changed my mine since no one called on the camper.  They said that I needed to wait the 3 months.  After the 3 months were up, I emailed and also faxed over the necessary papers that were requested.  No one responded to the emails. I tried calling the 888-842-9649 and all I get is a busy signal.  I was also given the number 415-932-8951, but of course that is not a working number. I gave them by debt card and waited the 3 months.  Not one phone call and no refund.
motorvehiclesonline is still a web site.  There is a place to ask to be contacted, but again no one every replys.  
Any suggestions as to what can be done?

I'm an idiot. I actually paid $300 to have them do it. Once I paid, i never heard from them again. When I tried calling the # on their website to get a refund (they claim if they don't sell the car, you can get a refund and also request a refund whenever you'd like), i always just got a messaging machine. When i tried getting the extension of the sales person who called me OR the person who took my credit card number (i took both their names down), the machine said they don't exist.

I'll admit, i got scammed and it sucks. I'm going to have my credit card company take away the charge, but i hope no one else is dumb like me and gets scammed by these guys.

Yes, they are still running this scam. They has a guaranteed buyer for my leased vehicle for money than I was asking.    Just got called today from 780-800-8437 (the so called manager) and 403-469-4028 (daniel).  Man were they mad when i wouldnt fall for it.  He said theyd never had anyone question the legitimacy of their company, that was absurd to them!  haha. Just hope no one else falls for this BS.

They called me today change their number to 1-888-842-9649, 780-800-8437 same deal but now it a guy named Bill Ivory called the RCMP they said will give you a number for phone busters told them b*****ds that their a bigger scam than the criminals cant believe we have to pay for our great police force

Received a call from Blake Kingston stating that they had multiple approved buyers interested in my car. I had to send them 399 and they could see my car for more than I had it listed for. He said the name of his company was Motor Vehicles Online!

Received a call from Steve saying he wanted to buy my car for a client for more than the asking price. He wanted my Credit Card and a 380 fee. Scam. Very disturbing.

Tracey called me and said she had a buyer ready to pay $2000 more than what I had my car listed for but that I had to send $388. Hahaha.
She said her company was Online Financing.

Called left a message stating that they were intested in my car and that they had a buyer. I would have called back until I read all of these comments and now I wont waste my long distance minutes. Thanks :)

i also received a call from them and told me that they provide car loans to people with bad credit and they have a approved client who wants to buy my car at asking price but i have to pay $395 fee upfront and my reply was no way.

caller said the company was called no credit, bad credit, bankruptcy.

Called me and said they saw my vehicle add in the autotrader and could GUARANTEE the quick sale of my vehicle at exactly the price I was asking....for a price of $300.00.
