They will not leave a message unless the client authorizes it.

This is not a company trying to scam or take any financial or personal information. It is contracted to do the work for government research, or other companies. The surveys are short and important to help in changing policy or service. If you do not want to do it say so. We are not rude to you and appreciate it if we just get told either no I do not want to participate. We'd take you off. I have done this work and am nice when I talk and if you do not want it is fine. Rather get the work done without dealing with rude people. That is all. Thanks. Also, if you want to check out the legitimacy of any survey ask for the point of contact and we will provide that information to you directly.

called me 3 times in 2 days.. .. blocked... loosers.

They call my cell phone daily, but when I answer, the call cuts off every time.  I don't even get a chance to speak and express my annoyance!!!

You have no idea what family circumstasnces they have and therefore miggt have need for a phone. And for your iwn unformation, most phones geared towards younger kids can only call parents,, guardians and emergency numbers. Besides, not your money or your kids so you have no right to call yhem irresponsible.

Recieved a call said they were Alberta Motor Association, told them I did not have a vehicle hopefully they wont call back if they do block call will work for me.

My number is unlisted. This company called me on SUNDAY morning.

they called me twice, both time said I have won a prize vacation, they have my birth month & date, even my address.  March 5 & 6 2012.  Stop calling!!

They don't even talk when I do answer.

So you keep people off the list cuz they pissed you off? And... you wonder why people have such a hate on for unsolicited calls? Do ya THINK this may be a bit of a factor?  Jack-a**!  I've been receiving at least daily calls from this number for a week. I have picked up and had nobody on the other end. I WOULD have said don't call again.  

People - learn how to block a number with your provider. I just did with this number so I won't have to put up with the unwanted calls again. Whew!

Scum of the earth. Unsolicited calls just interrupting your day and making you think it could be something important. My girlfriend gets calls often from these losers, I hope the business goes under! Have a nice day!

they called me today and said it was government of alberta solicitor general questions about crime in canada... told them i didnt have time to talk they said they would call back. weird..

forgot to mention those people who cussed me out and then proceeded to tell me to take me off the call list, just to piss you off i kept you on the call list and set a call either for dinner or straight in the morning to wake your dumb a** up.

also thats a lie that we never left messages, we were told to leave 1 message every 3(?) calls or every third day whichever came first. we had many mailboxes that were not open or were just plain full.

i worked at resinnova it is a legitimate research company they do not sell anything.
i was also told when i worked there that because they don't sell anything they aren't required to abide by the CRTC's do not call list ( which incidentally only applies to Canadian companies and is sold to the american companies...)
although i did sign a confidentiality agreement, lets be serious no-one abides by those: they mainly do contracts for AMA and the government of Canada. they also use an auto-dialer so if your work number gets hit thats most likely why.

also this is what we were told: " unless they directly say please take me off your list or do not call here again or im not interested, dont take it as a refusal and just call it back later."
meaning to all you goof balls who say " i told them to f*** off" "i hung up on them 17 times!"
your idiots... when a telemarketer or market researcher calls you say one of three lines:
1) not interested
2) dont call me again (please is optional)
3) TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST without shouting preferably but your choice. (wait for them to acknowledge this don't just say it quickly and hang up)

also this company when you tell them "take me off your list" they dont actually do it, as i was told they just take your number off for THE CURRENT survey, meaning if the auto dialer creates your number again your most likely going to be dialed for a survey in the future... if you'd rather not prefer this ask to speak to a supervisor or manager or owner (owner being coral thygeson or whatever) and tell her you NEVER want to be called again.

the auto dialer is mainly used for a general population survey.

AMA though usually  provides the company with a list of numbers.

I would just like to add, that if I don't answer the 17th time you called, I am not interested. Also surveys piss me off, because it is NEVER just a survey they always try and sell you something ALWAYS so M please tell them to stop calling. If i want to let them know what i think of them i'll wait till i have to use AMA and if it isn't a great experience oh believe me i'll let them know!

Got a call from 780-944-9606 and the message said it was from Resinova on behalf of AMA. I was annoyed about this because I didn't know if this was a scam. I read M's post about Resinova being a research company hired by AMA to complete customer surveys. I'm okay with completing a survey over the phone. There are some things about AMA I'd like to comment on. I think Resinova should make it very clear when leaving messages what they're calling about though. Perhaps they'd get a few more people willing to call them back.

I received this message, it was Canada Post, telling me that my mail box key is ready for pick up for my new house that has the community mail boxes in the community.

That number called me twice march 17,2010 at 5:30 and today march 21,2010 at 3:22 pm I answered the first time and spoke with a guy who said his name ricardo and his working for a company named Resinnova and I asked him how the hell he got my cell number and he said that the numbers are randomly drawn and that's from the govenment of Alberta the get the list of the numbers to call. That is so abusive.

I just got a call from this number just now. I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message.

My daughter just received 2 calls today, no messages, and she is only 9 and has had her phone for only a week.
My son got a phone the same day, he is 10 and a bet he will get called as well. I will post that if it or when it does.  

Like W T F ??? To invade children, how do they get their numbers??

This number calls us everyday sometimes  twice a day.
We don't pick the phone up because they never leave a message on the answering machine. It is happening probably over a month.
