Yup at 1:30 AM - caller from 989-0049, high beep.  Are we this behind the technology that Telus can't catch these morons???

Called at 2:30, high pitched beep.  We called the number in the morning, and heard the high pitched beep again; no one answered.

Keep on getting 2 beeps when talking on the phone. I'm in the 780 area and am trying to figure out what it is. Hope you can help.

Got called twice this early morning, just after midnite and 3:30 a.m.  Can't believe Telus security has not fixed this???

Got a call from 780-989-0049 @2:42 am.  Picked up the phone, no response just single beep.  Very annoying.

Called at 12:04 am....beeps.... as we have Shaw phone I have blocked the number so that it cannot get through again.

This number called us, too at 0302h.  I'm not surprised Telus didn't do anything...they're basically useless.  Did you report this to police?  If this is continually happening could it not be harrassment?  If it happens again to us we will report to EPS.  You should do the same.  If this has been going on for over 2 years it's time to do something about it.

780-989-0049 is a Telus registered number. Called Telus, but they would not do anything. Telus rep said after 3 complaints, will investigate the number. I think the Telus rep meant 3 complaints to police. My own provider suggested reporting to police, who can trace the number.

Got a call last night @ 2:02 am. Since we don't have voice mail, the phone rang off the hook. I was pissed when I finally got up (thinking it was an emergency, thats why they continued to call over and over) and answered and nobody was there.

Called at 10.35pm (we never get calls that late at night) and left just beeps on the answering machine.  Very annoying!

i got one at 0419 this morning.  seriously, two years and counting for calls from this number, from lots of folks, it's time to deal with the ijits at the other end.  i dont know about anyone else, but once i've been shocked out of bed in the wee small hours by a phone call (which is USUALLY not good news), i've not much hope for getting back to sleep.

Got a call at 5:50am Friday morning , answered and no response on the other end.

This number also called me at 3AM and beeped in my friggin ear.

Got this phone call last night, too.  Since we don't have voicemail, it rang forever!

Got the same call on my cell phone last night at 3:40AM, called back just beeps, tried again today now it's busy...

got a call from this number at 10:30 last night, left high pitched beeps on voicemail.

Seem to get this once a month, this time the called my cell phone @ 9:30pm on a Sunday night! I just figured that it was time to post something.

Got a call at 0330 , answered and no response on the other end. Every time I try and call back , the number is busy

I got this message left on my work phone, beep 1-2-3 beep 1-2-3 beep, is all it left. I dont call anyone one my work phone, how would they get my number.

I just got the same call....with the beeps.    Perhaps it's looking for modems that are set to auto answer...could be a hacker of some type.  It's obviously been dialling many numbers since at least 2008.   Telus security should look into this.

Called at 3:00 this morning, same single beep.

got call at 4:30 am.  called back, but high pitched beep

called at 0600 - obviously a fax autodial from the beeps.

Called at 12:20 AM.  Answered, everytime say something, high pitched beep

Called at least twice an hour from 12am - 6am. Answered, no response.  Phoned number back, no response.
