This is a Verizon Wireline Automated Outbound Dialer Telephone Number that provides automated follow up calls to confirm a change whenever you set up, change or otherwise modify your Verizon service. The auto dialer will not leave a message unless you pick up the call and listen. While the concept is a good idea, this implementation is bizzare behavior for a phone company, who any rational actor would expect to have their name in the caller ID and also to leave a message on Voicemail or a mesage machine. This is not a good approach to reinforce or build customer loyalty. They should get a clue. HTI

I've gotten two calls from this number today. Both exactly an hour apart. I have no idea who it could be I just got my phone number about a month ago and have not given it out to anyone! They do not leave a message and I don't want to pay for a long distance call by calling them back!

Got this call today at 11:11am, did not leave a message. All that came up on caller ID is the number and "Massachusetts".
Would like to know who it is. The exchange 941 is Saugus, MA. I called it back but it just kept ringing.
