Also just got a message from this same phone #. Heavy accent, said his name was "Jack Shephard" and that I faced legal action unless he heard back from me or my attorney.  Called me about a month ago as well using different name, when I said to send me something in writing he got nasty, so I hung up. Now he's call again. Have reported it to Legal Shield. Waiting to hear back from them.

I got this call at my work and I called them back and they said I had a lawsuit against me, but had no information on what it was about and didn't even have the dates as to when this supposedly took place and when I mentioned that I was going to call my local law inforcement they hung up on me. Wish they would catch these scum bags.

I have received calls from this number as well stating the last 4 of my ss# and that I have a lawsuit against me but cannot give me any information. First he said his name was Rick, then Tom Cooper, and finally Roland. Then gave me 2 different company names and said I would be arrested. When I told him I found a site saying they were fraud artists,  he yelled at me and hung up.

I got a call last night.  Called my cell like 5 times then finally left a message.  Told me he was coming to my home with his "Team of investigators" and cops - they would show up at my home and place of business.  I tried to call the number back and the call will not go through.  He said he was filing a lawsuit against me but did not say for what.  I am guessing a scam.  I have a feeling that these people are related to pay day loans, they get your information when you fill out the application then use it against you.

Also Indian sounds like calling from a call center.

Some guy who can't speak English calls and says they need my attorney to contact them so they can start a lawsuit. A definite scam! No name of company or what kind of lawsuit.

This guy could barely speak English, sounded like he was calling from India. Talking bout some law suit and to have my attorney call them, LMAO.....whatta scam

I've been receiving calls like this for months. It's always a foreign voice with a name like Steve Smith, or Matt Jones saying my ssn# has been included in a lwasuit.

How do I get these calls to stop? I've tried threatening them with reporting them, etc...

RECEIVED A VOICEMAIL FROM 785-727-2386, said I need to return his call and that his name is Albert, neither last name nor a Company name.  He said I need to contact him or have my attorney contact him as this is time sensitive.  Did not tell me what this was in regards too.   He had an accent and tried to talk slow so he could pronounce his words proper.

Got a call saying that they need information on a lawsuit against me.  I told them I would not give them information and didn't call about the lawsuit.  Hung up and they called right back and asked why I hung up and I again said they wouldn't get information out of me and didn't care about the lawsuit.  Once again I hung up.  Scam artists I do believe.

Guy call Guy Smith threatening legal action...requesting attorney records..blah, blah, blah!  This call is so off the wall, attempted scam????

I just got too saying that there will be legal action taken against me.
