They are a total SCAM!! Does anybody of a way to prosecute these people

Got a call from this number today!  Total scam!

They left a message on my work phone. They said it was Allen Wilson and if I don't return the call. (I've already hungup twice on him) he said i'll be in a legal mess. He also stated that he didn't appreciate the way I hung up on him. HAHA.. Well I don't appreciate the way you call and threaten to send police to my home and work.

Threatened jail ,yelling profanity,Indian speaking person named clarke Daniels.

I started receiving these calls today. They not only called my cell phone, but also my work. They stated that they had an arrest warrant, and the same as everyone else that I had committed Fraud. When I started asking him questions about the case he couldn't answer any of my questions.
I have submitted the call to the FTC. Hopefully these calls stop.

Yep me too just got off the phone with them I did how ever know what was going on before i got the call so i gave him crap right back.....He said i owed for a loan and that i was going to be arrested Wednesday morning so i told him cool i will just get a hold of my dad and ride to work with him....He started to stumble and ask so your dad is a cop i said yep works in fraud..then you started having trouble reading from his little script they read from.. Then he called me a cheap low life thief and i told him your just upset because you guys just Osama Bin Laden body and found the can of pork we shoved up his butt....that got him going  how God will destroy the americans and the fight is not over yet......I then told him see i knew it was a scam and made you loose control......Have a nice day.....And he slammed the phone down.....Made my day better

Looks like the foreigners are at it again.... Found a new number to harass everyone on.  We wish luck scumbags...

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

These mutha f****rs called my phone talking bout a damn loan from us lenders I didn't pay back so I asked them well who is the company I owe... No answer...then go transfer me to sum damn Lisa.. With her bad talking a**.. Threaten me telling Me I owe all this money.....  

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I received this call also, the only information that could get from him is that the firm is Richard & Paul Legal Associates. He also stated he would be having me arrested.  I submitted a complaint for the threatening call at http://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/

Maybe if enough people complain this will get taken care of quickly.

got a call from this number.  How are they getting my number?

A guy with a strong Indian accent called and said he was calling from Richard and Paul associates. He said that there was a lawsuit against me and wanted to know my lawyers info unless I haven't been informed of the lawsuit. After I told him that I could find the company that he said he was calling from, he got mad, said that he was blocking my SS# from any benefits and hung up immediately.

I got a call from this number and the gentleman told me he was from a law office handling a case against me and even recited my SSN to me. The kicker is I asked him what company is placing a case on me and he gave me the name of a company I have never even heard of before (American Cash). He then tried to tell me that I applied for a loan from this company and they gave me the funds and I had not paid them back, so I now have a case of 7000-9000 dollars. I had asked him what the contact information of the company was and he refused to give it to me, but instead asked that I pay a fee of 433 in order to prevent the case from going further. Bottom line "scammers r us" I hope they all die of AIDS.
