Had a voice mail. Something about information they obtain from my drivers license  (? ? ? ? how is that legal ) they had information for me concerning cheaper car insurance!  Sheesh!  This call came on my cell phone.  Obviously just deleted it.

I to two calls from this number on my cell phone both at 2:53, I didn't even hear my phone ring and they left no message.  I tried to call but got a busy tone.  I'm guessing it's the same as everyone else.

Something about the drivers license bureau and regarding paying too much for car insurance.  It seemed legit at first, but I don't see how the drivers license people would know that I pay too much for car insurance.  I can't see that they would pay people to research that subject and why would they care? I don't want radom phone calls on my cell phone.

I just received a call from this number and I did not answer. I call them back and it says that they called to give us a chance to lower our auto insurance payment. Well truth is I do not have auto insurance because I am borrowing a vehicle from my mother in law. I really would like to know where they got my number. It then tells me to press 1 to talk to a representative and press 3 to be taken off the call list. When you press 3 it tells you that is not a valid selection. So basically you are screwed.

Missed the call so I called back. It was a "press 1 to hear more" paying too much for car insurance thing. Hung up on it.

Got a call and recording said it was a "This is a public service announcement for people who..." and that is when I hung up.  Shouldn't answer calls from numbers I do not recognize, but have close family living in KS, so did not want to ignore it.

Got a call from this number as well.  I did not answer as I do not answer numbers I don't recognize.  Nothing but a buzz on my voicemail.  As this is the same month as the above messages, I am sure it just the above mentioned insurance.

Received a call from this number; the did not leave a message.  I called them back.  Did I know that care insurance prices went down this week (today is Monday) due to a new DMV law?  Just to dink around with them, I first said I wanted to be placed on their "Do Not Call List" but still wanted to talk about car insurance.  Bang!  They hung up.  Called them back.  Got as far as giving them my zip code and POOF!  They hung up again.  This tells me they are not legitimate AND that the Do Not Call List really does work!  We'll see how things go from here.  I DO keep a "Do Not Call File" and jot down the telephone number so we will see how well this works!  I will say I never received any such calls until this last month---when against my better judgment I signed up for InBox Dollars---a survey answering company.  I deleted my account a few days ago but imagine I will continue to have some fallout from  it for months to come.  I do not know WHAT I was thinking!  LOL!
