Yes, same thing for me!  3.99 .  My bank says my debit card was hacked through "google".  Asked me if we had smart phones, which we do not...  I never use this card to purchase on line so she said they thought it was possibly a business where I used the card --was probably compromised.  Also said that this is how they start out, with a small amount.  The charges was dated 09/05 and I checked in on 09/10... ...  When I asked what I can do to prevent future hacks?  CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT EVERY DAY!!!

I got this scam too.  Called the number and could not understand what the guy was saying.  I use PNC Bank and they are reversing the charges, but charging me $7.50 for a new debit card...LOL   I ended up loosing more money reporting this and just letting the $3.99 go through.

I noticed a small charge for $3.99 early this morning, as I check my account every morning online. I called my credit union, and they immediately shut my debit card off and reissued a new card to me. They are also sending forms to me to complete so that I may file for reimbursement from the fraudulent funds from these punks. My credit union also informed me they tried to submit another debit from my account, but the credit union did not allow it to go through because I called in a timely manner. Make sure you check your bank/credit union accounts frequently. People are notorious now days and can not be trusted. If they see they can get away with a $3.99 charge, the next charge will be much greater.Makes me want to only use cash now. We are living in perilous times. BE WISE!

I'm glad your bank will investigate it, mine will not. Please post an update if you find out anything. People that scam their way through life deserve to be punished. I don't work over-time every week, just to have dishonest, scumbag, bottom-feeders like this stealing out of my pocket.

Parker please post what your bank finds. My bank is not investigating so I will have no clue how the charge was put on my card. Thanks.

I received the same thing on my bank statement.  I called my bank and they are going to investigate it.  The jerks that did this probably think they can get away with a small charge and then latter take a much bigger amount out.

Just checked my bank account online (like I frequently do) and was surprised to find a $3.99 debit (small, but still, that's MY money) for some mini golf company in FL. I called the number that showed up on my statement and got a voice recording that is so un-decipherable...couldn't make out one word it said. I only shop online through Amazon so hopefully someone gets to the bottom of this.

I called the number-it was a recording to send a message to an inbox.com email. I didn't understand the email address but my guess is it would not matter anyway.

No but I got a fraudulent charge on my debit card that had this number. Everyone should check their bank statements.
