I dont know why you would send me something that causes grief to others , leave me alone  I don't need anymore problems I have enough of my own.

Same as the rest of the results here..obviously a scam but I now have somewhere to forward all the other spam calls and texts to not to mention one I can put online for all the other spammers and scammers to respond to.see if that dont jam their system just a little bit. lol

received a text saying

"hi... about your wanted ad on craigslist will this work for you: pic att http://picsoft.org photo id 804wtm. if so its yours."

after search the phone number and seeing the above i didnt open the pic and got scared i dont need a virus

rec'd text from my post on Craigslist for Item wanted.  Said there was a picture  at http://picsoft.org photo id 196WTM.  Nothing showed up....

I, too, posted a wanted ad on Cragislist for a cellphone from a provider that is only offered in MS, AL and parts of TN.  I got a txt from this number, saying "Hi...about the Wanted ad in craigslist will this work for you? If so let's talk" and there was a link to a photo hosting website. I went to the website on my phone, and it told me I had an unsupported device....which I knew right away was a scam.  When I looked up the area code, it is Miami, FL - how would this person have a phone only activated on a select network only available in 3 states all the way from Miami???

Same as Kat. I also am selling a harley and I got the same link and message.

Posted a Harley and at 4:31 AM this j*** off acting as a woman said she was buying the same harley as mine for her husband and asked me if my bike was similar with tons of pics attached which I couldnt get open. Obvious Scammer

Same here, posted an 'item wanted' ad for car part and included the phone number. Got a text with a link.
Unable to access the link (probably a good thing) and "no route exists" when tried to call.

Yes, I made the mistake of posting on Craigslist Wanted section and included my phone number.  Looks like whenever you include your phone number in craigs list you get spammed with potential scammers.

BEWARE! this is a scammer from this phone number.

Same as the aforementioned comments. I posted a wanted ad for a hard to find item. I should have known the quick response was spam. I just hope I didn't pick up a virus clicking on the non existent link. In the future will be doing a quick search before I respond to interest for my craigs ads...lesson learned...thanks to these posted comments.

Do people really have nothing better to do with their time than create spam and try to scam honest people?

Got a text from this number today, called the number and get the message no rout exists to this destination. Text came in regards to a Craigslist Barter Ad.

I got the same text from my ad on craigs as well went to the site and who ever it is never texted back again, what a D***

received text message in regards to my barter post on craigslist. tried to look at pictures in photo host link but was unable to see anything. Instead received a virus and malwares. I doubt this was a real inquiry.

got a text from this number and it linked me to a photo site but cant get any photos. tryed to call the number back and got a message saying all circuits are busy! most likely a scam!

got a text about a craigslist ad I have for barter.  Sent a photo link that took me to a supposed photo hosting site.  Can't see any of the pics, says I need GIMP, which I HAVE.

And, I'm in NJ, they're in FLA?  Interesting...
