I got a voicemail from this number, it was a young man with a very heavy middle-eastern accent claiming to be "Kevin Miller". He told me I need to call him back immediately at this number and be forewarned that if I called him back by the end of the day he "may be able to try to help me. If not, I had better hire an attorney." He didn't say what he was calling about.

Not the first time I've had a scam call like this. The first time it happened the same guy (used the same name) claimed to have the sheriff's department around the corner ready to arrest me, even called me at my work number as well and had my SSN!! I called the sheriff's office and they said it's becoming very common for them to get calls from people about this type of scam. They're buying our personal information somewhere and trying to scare us into paying them for money we don't owe. DON'T FALL FOR IT. HANG UP ON THEM IMMEDIATELY!!!

i received two calls from this number one a couple days ago, and today at3:59 pm, i answered the call, and was a recording thanking me for participating in an internet survey (never do) and I had won something, and that all i had to do was to answer a couple of questions.   The questions were do you rent or buy, and do you have a checking account. after answering these two questions the response was "sorry you have called after business hours.  we are open monday thru friday after 10 am"   what at a scan,   the call originated in Homestead, fl 786 is a florida area code that is why i answered it.X9N

Generation of employees who read from script. We all need jobs. Here in the states our education has developed our youth into drones that are programmed to call those of us connected to the internet. Like shooting fish in a barrel. Look at that facebook, look at the dork that is the CEO and stocks. I would like to be contacted about some launch codes and armed missiles I can launch from my lil office desk with the savvy tech and minimum wage.

They call to see if you need help with getting a college degree .

All day long they call..I come home from work and a list of missed calls. The dog is threatening to move.

They are scammers!!

Just go to your telephone company web site and BLOCK the offending number, so it will not be able to come thru. If you do not know how, call their customer support!

But that's nothing permanent, because those Caller ID spoofers use a number for one day or so, then start to use some other number. The numbers they use are abandoned numbers, not yet reassigned by the telephone companies.

It is amazing that such a crooked practice is allowed to go on!
Where are the feds when I need them????? I wrote to my US Rep...no response!

Bottom line: IGNORE IT and never give the other side ANY information. PERIOD!
