Just block the number. It is just  this simple.

The folks currently using this number are a collection agency called My Advocate.  They were contracted by United Health Care.  They bought the uncollectables list from someone else and are trying to collect old debts.  Like most collection agencies they are lower than rat turds in deserving of respect.  They seem to make no attempt to clean their list of reassigned phone numbers nor do they correct mistakes in their lists even when informed of the error.  They even get snarky and sarcastic when you mention that the person they asked for the previous 15 times continues to not possess the phone with the the number they had on record.  

Called at least 4 X in the last week never a msg left on caller id. I never p/u if I don't recognize who's calling me.

This number called me on 4/30/14 and 5/21/14. I didn't pick up. They didn't leave any message.

Help stop these annoying calls. They call almost daily I do not answer numbers I do not know.

The same as Gena & Llthe rest. Want to stop all these scams.

Shows "Social Svc Coor". Did not answer. saw several others reported it's part of Medicare Advantage plan of United healthcare. If so, I do have that. But with no better ID who's going to take a chnace of being 'phished"

I got a call again from these morons.  They hung up with any message being left, so I called back.  Like other comments
here, they ARE part of United Healthcare's Care Improvement Plus.  They want to get you to have an in-home "health
advocate" and other crap which no sane person needs.  THIS IS horse s***.  I called back and told the African gentleman
(who actually called me by name, since my phone number came up on his screen!) to take me off his call list or I'd contact
my lawyer.  I can't wait til Dec 2014, so I can change from this healthcare plan!!  It's worse than OBAMACARE!

Got call on Ooma system, read your reviews and am blacklisting it.  Thank you Ooma!  It came up on screen as "My Advocate".  Really?  I don't recognize the area code so by blacklisting, they will get a disconnected message.  I win (for now)!

Hi John, your post is interesting because my husband does have Medicare coverage (not advantage, though), but why don't they leave a message with a phone # where they can be reached??

I can't stand these people anymore. This number 786-300-4084, it's says Social Service & it calls all day long.  Is there anything that can be done about it..???

These goons call my # twice a day for weeks, leave no msgs. If I pick up on the call I get dead air, until today!!  I actually got a live rep, & told her I was NOT James Price, & have had this # for 5 YEARS!!  Also told her I didn't know the person she was trying to reach, & to stop calling me!! We will see if this HARASSMENT ends.It is United Healthcare Customer Service calling, I finally found out.  

Recd 2 calls today, one @ 9:13AM, the 2nd @ 4:46PM. No msg left on V/M.   Obviusly, they are phishing for folks that fall for whatever they are calling about!!  If it was a legitimate organization, they would leave a msg!!  

After reading some of the post, I come across a statement that the phone number is from "Care Improvement Plus". It is defiantly from these people. The "Social SVC Coor" is Social SVC Coordinators, out of Miami. I am a member of the Insurance Company ( Medicare Advantage ) that is affiliated with United Health Care. I called my member number and discussed this with the gentleman that I talked to and he confirmed the above. I also suggested that he forward my complaint with the proper department, as I normally will not answer a call not properly identified or a number I do not recognize. So, if anyone gets this call and are a member of this Medicare Advantage Insurance, call them and bi*** about the way they are making the call to you. Maybe, just maybe they will fix the problem.

Two calls to my cell phone, one on 2/5/14 at 1240 PST, and one on 2/7/14 at 1601 PST.  Sent to voicemail, no message left.  

Claimed to be from care improvement plus.  Wanted to ask questions and refer me to services agencies locally.  Told them I don't do anything over the phone.

Did not recognize the number so I didn't answer, as usual. They did not leave a message. Thought I would check the number on the internet and just as I thought, it was not important to begin with. I have my number on 2 do not call lists so this was an illegal call.

I keep getting calls from a Miami Florida number 786-300-4084.  I found out that these are scammers calling.  I never answer this number.  I recommend no one answer these calls from this number.

These scammers also use the number 786-300-4081 with Social SVC Department.  SCAMMERS.

Called my cell phone, I answered with my business name as always, they asked for my mom by name. I know 100% she don't use my cell as her call number so I told them this is a Business Number, And asked who he was and all said is Brian and said he would update the system and hung up. Then came to the internet to search the number, 786-300-4084

Called my cell.  did not answer.  I never answer numbers I do not recognize.  Left no message.
