Officer Peter Jackson called me today out of Florida asking for a Melvin Perkins..I told him no one by that name has this phone. He then ask me my name so he can put it in the data system not to call me. I lied and gave him a fake name. I am not stupid. I trust no one. Two days later he calls asking for that fake name and threatened me that if I did not pay something I was going to Federal Court. I then said I am sitting here with my credit report in my hand there is nothing on me. He got angry and said I will be turning it over to Fedral Court today with your name and social security number. I then said you do not have my social or any information on me at all that is not even my damn name and my phone is not even in my name so what the hell are you talking about he said I better hire an Attorney and he hung up. I called him back and he was nasty when I said what do you have and how the hell can you say You checked me out when you only had a fake name he said have your attorney call. I said no I will call the Attorney General he can call you. Your an a** threatning people and not say what you are taking them to court for.

Debt Collector
A guy name Peter Jackson called me from this number posing as an officer. When I called back they said that he was out and I spoke with an Officer Roy Wilson. He said I had 4 counts against me and if I didn't settle this matter that I would go to jail. When I asked him for the name of the company that I had to pay, a physical address, and a letter in the mail stating why I owed he asked what did I say when I repeated it he said that he would email it to me the next day. He called my mom today and said that he needed to talk to me this was serious. When I called back I told him to stop harassing my mom and that I'm investigating him also and that he was a scam artist. He got upset and said you and your mom are going to but I cut him off and told him that I was reporting him to the FDIC and he hung up.

He continues to call each time with a different name.  These calls are being made to my place of employment which is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Act.  In any event, I reported them to the Attorney general's office and also the ic3.

I got a phone call from him today. He told me he's gonna contact the IRS so they can withhold my money but hasn't sent me anything in the mail in writing. These people should really study the law if they want to trick people. I filed a complaint with the attorney general. I hope they fix these idiots because it's annoying to receive calls like this AT WORK!

Officer Peter Jackson of the Federal Department for Financial Crime left a message a couple of days ago saying a "legal" lawsuit (as opposed to an illegal lawsuit, I guess?) had been filed against me and I had to call him back immediately or something would happen (couldn't understand exactly what because of his accent). I called this number back today (a Saturday), he answered but said he wasn't working and I'd have to call back Monday. Can't wait to call Monday. I'll probably play along with his little scam for awhile before laying into him.

I received a call today also stating that he is officer Peter Jackson. He even gave me a file number and his phone number. He stated that i'm getting charged with commiting crime and police will arrest me withing 10 minutes if i don't pay my debt at that moment. I don't have any debt and can't wait until these idiots get arrested. This is their second time calling me.

I also recieved these calls. My local police has advised me that this is a matter of a debt collector trying to intimidate people into paying. I was told by the local police to call the Attorney General for my state and file a formal complaint as it is illegal to immpersonate an officer of the law. I would suggest that anyone recieving these calls also file complaints with your Attoney General.
