I keep getting calls from this number and they hang up when I answer.  Irritating!!!!

This company sounds like fraud. They have called different times using different company names. They have called before and got ahold of our bank account information because they sounded ligit. They even provided part of our check number but said they needed the rest of the check number on the bottom. However, it was all fraud. They called again this morning using this number and said they were connected to our bank and that we owed $25. Sometimes they try to scam businesses too! It was all lies. When we questioned them and told them we knew it was fraud they began stuttering and hung up. Please be warned and do not provide any account information even if they sound ligitimate. If you are still curious ask for a call back number to call back and you will see they give you a fake one. They are not associated with any bank or business, just scam artists.

This person keeps calling from this number and they hang up before they hit the voice mail they hang up. and they keep calling and calling and wont stop. And they wont tell me the name of the company.

Called repeatedly over the weekend, finally left automated message on voicemail twice saying it was checking if I'd be willing to participate in a national survey and that "they may call back."  Annoying, on do not call list!

Car warranty company keeps calling for someone else who has a toyota I don't own.They've called me about 20-30 times in the last month and refuse to take me off the list

I began receiving these calls a few weeks ago.  They would call, let it ring three times and hang up before the answering machine picked up.  A couple of times I answered and they hung up.  Finally I called the number from my caller I.D., and a young man told me it was a collection agency.  I asked who they were looking for, because I do not have any outstanding debts.  The man said, they wanted James Jordan.  I informed him that James Jordan died almost six years ago.  I told him that I wanted my number removed from their calling list immediately.  He told me he would take care of it.  Well, they are still calling and hanging up.  I called them back this morning after a hang up in my ear and got a Ms. Pearly Sanders, who hung up on me as soon as I told her why I called.  This harrassment needs to be stopped.  I hope this will help.

Thanks for the info.  (786) 347-1706 has been calling me for weeks and never leaves a voice message. All the so called reverse free phone cites want money to tell me who has been calling. How do they (i.e. Intelius and company) get away this, are they part of the Obama administration or what?

They kept calling and hanging up before getting to the voicemail.
I had no idea who it was that kept doing that so I changed my Google Voice greeting to ask why they kept hanging up.  The next time they called the lady did speak to my voicemail and said:

"[I'm] not calling and hanging up.  We wanted to know if you're interested in keeping your warranty on your Nissan Altima"
