Solution: This telemarketing company that has been hired by the Fraternal Order of Police is relentless and has been calling me everyday for about one year. Usually I just don't answer the phone, but now I feel harrassed by them.

The numbers to call to stop these calls in Florida comes from a telemarketing service in Miami: 786-358-5695 (or similar numbers) are:

1-800-873-3671 or RYAN HUNT at 801-284-7208.

If the calls don't stop - file a complaint online with the Office of the Attorney General in Florida.  

Don't even bother calling 786-358-5695 - they will keep you on hold for ten minutes and then you'll be disconnected.

They called me 8:15am, woke me up. I am on the do not call list.

Yet again, the DO NOT CALL list failed us.  They called before 9AM but I didn't bother picking up the phone

I received a call this morning with the caller not leaving a message on my recorder.  I had to spend money using *69 to trace whoever called.  I have a critically ill family member and expect a call anytime reporting a crisis, and these solicitations leave me quite upset.  I'd like to know why the Florida system, set up to stop harrassment of this nature, ISN'T DOING ITS JOB.  HOW WOULD THESE UNKNOWN S****EADS LIKE TO BE RECEIVING CALLS WITHOUT NUMBE WHEN A FAMIL MEMBER COULD POSSIBLY DYING????

My phone rang at 8:00AM-got me out of bed when I was sick only to have them hang up when I didn't answer by the 4th ring.  IN the past they say they have a right to call even if you are on the do not call list. My caller ID says it was the "FLORIDA FOP": FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE. Stems out of Tallahasee if you google FLORIDA FOP. I will see if our "elected officials" in Tallahasee can do something to put a end to those who are on the Do NOT Call list being harassed.

I don't know who this is. If they are calling to get donations, I don't give over the phone. they called me at 9:28 am. and when I went to answer the phone, they hung up. If it is the police dept. they would be on the phone. I talked to some of my police friends and they said that they don't ask for donations over the phone. so if anyone is giving donations over the phone, they are being taken.

My telephone ringing, woke me up this morning. A person came on the line and said he was from Florida FOP. He asked for money and I finally said I would donate $5.00. Then... he said, " To make things more simple I need to get your credit card number.'   While I was looking for it, he kept saying in an automated voice," I can hold while you get your card", over and over. After I really woke up, I realized I had given my credit card number to a complete stranger. Needless to say, I called the credit card company and had my cc number changed. What a hassle!!  Never again!!

Same scam different phone number.  I have to pay for *69. Because of the number of unwanted, unsolicited phone calls, I wasn't even answering my phone. This week I decided to take control back for my phone. These Fraternal Order of Police calls have been going on for years. Repeatedly we have told them not to call and remove our phone number. We are on a DO NOT CALL list but I think it should be called the DO CALL list. When I PAID to use the *69 it gave me the phone number 786-358-5643. When the number is called you get "Your call cannot be completed as dialed V1001".

Been receiving these calls.

Will not answer call. Do not know the number. Have received calls from this number several times.

I keep getting calls from this number I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST....really really annoying they call everymorning wake up my kids they call every afternoon wake up my babies....this has to stop.

Called at 9:40 am.  I recognized the name "Florida FOP" as a scam.  I picked up the receiver, but did not respond, waited a few seconds in silence, then hung up.

I received a call before 8am this morning asking for the lady of the house.  Call display showed this number. Man said he was from FOP - Fraternal Order of Police.  He was very slick in his delivery of his pitch.  Asked if I agreed that it is nice to have the support of the police when we need them.  He made three attempts to engage me in conversation (I won't respond) and used the word "sorry" three times which implies a non agressive approach..."sorry, I was just asking if you agree that it is nice to have the police there when we need them".  Finally, he hung up when I wouldn't respond.  What police telemarketer calls before 8am?

Probably a scam.
