Robot call : Free Home Security system if I posted a sign on my front lawn - pressed '1'.

"Kelly" from"World Commerce Associates" came on the line.  She would not (could not?) point me to a web site.  On demand, I gave her a "first name" but she insisted on a last name before transferring me to a second level.  As I live in a "No Phishing" zone I refused.  She accused me of "Not being interested in a free home security system" and hung up.

Google "World Commerce Associates scam" for additional information.  It seems they have more than just "free" home security systems in the fire.

called the number back, it appears to be some sort of give away, with daily drawings.  It said I was a subscriber since July 2010. It does allow you to cancel.

I have recently had  several calls from "unknown" callers, etc.  If I do not recognize the area code or if the call is not in my contacts, I just let the call go to voicemail which it never has or just let it register as a missed call.  There is no need to even answer or give them a chance to rattle your cage.
If it is a legitimate call they will leave a voice mail and you can decide if you want to respond.

Best advise,  do not bother to answer.

telemarketer asked me if i wanted to be entered to win $1000.  I hate these people.  Whatever happened to the national do not call list?  people just ignore that now :(

Why do we have to get these calls from these unknown callers.  They stated that we had a subscription and wanted to know if we would like to keep it.  If not press 5, then another states if you do not want to receive therse calls press 1.  What subscription? WE do not subscribe to any magazines, we do not like to pay for advertisments.  NO way would we ever do such a thing when we need the money for other things.  Please find out who they are and take the service away from them now.
