It;s wierd i got the same exact message

I got a message from some girl asking me to view some of her photos and the website was an adult website. have these messages stop please.

This person messaged my boyfriend on facebook.... nicole something.....so I told her to text my phone pretending to be my boyfriend, she did.... probably not a good idea bc it was spam. I blocked the number, googled it, and obviously im not the only one that has recieved a text from this number!! Hopefully this spammer doesn't get into my personal accounts??? Has anyone had anything happen? I'm an idiot.

i got request frim jennifer blum: when i acceot she text me she like ny photo ni time she goes to logout and gave this num to text msg her.when i reply her through facebook i did nit got any response. what does it meant for. i text msg her also no reply

Yes, someone facebook friend request... then the person started a chat, said they have to go off line and then sent me number to chat with what appears to be a female. I accidentally clicked yes as friend and mutual friend.. now I will try to unfriend this contact

Even i got a friend request n had some mutual friends so I accepted later got a msg in which this number was given n requesting me to msg

I got a black haired Indian Chick. I have not called wanted to make sure it was real. So if am not the only one getting this its a scam.

this is a scam of some sort. its a facebook message that says to text the number. there is a photo of an ugly blonde girl and some mutual friends. Called the number and there was a recording that said the call could not be completed. So it's obviously a scam.

Without any doubt in my mind this is bull.
Had a few of my close friends on "her" friends list so I chose the accept friend request like an idiot. Haha

The account that is sending these messages is a fake account set up to send these messages in hopes that you will respond to them via text message. If you do, you will be sent a link to a pornographic site, according to a poster here who did text the number.

If you get a message with this number:

1) Unfriend the person sending the message.
2) Report the account to Facebook as either fake, spam, or scam.

In order to protect your information, as there is potential for identity theft as well:

1) Go to your privacy settings at the top of the page in the left hand corner.
2) Hide the following:
Your phone number
Your email address
Your date of birth (you can hide only year if you'd prefer)
3) Hide your friend list.

In the case of phone number, email, and DOB, there is no real reason this needs to be on Facebook. Anybody close enough to call or email you probably already has this information stored in their phone or email contact list. They probably know your birthday as well.

As for your friend list, I believe this is how this number is finding new contacts. Hiding your friends list will prevent the people you know from falling victim.

Seems they are fishing for our phone numbers.  Recommend not texting them as they request.

The "person" who befriended me on Facebook was a Nicole Deines.....at 786-422-5762

I received this message, then deleted. Obviously a scam of some type.

i got the same message too...it is a SCAM of some sort....

accepted friend request on facebook and next thing i know i got a text message saying"what do you do for work,text me sometime.i have to go.
