I am also a victim of this "Scram". I first received a phone call from this so called "Processing Agent" George Rodriguez telling me that I was a Contest Winner from Country Crock winning $750,000 thousand dollar's. The phone number was different from the numbers the people posted on this page. It was 888-480-5539. I asked that this letter confirming my prize be e-mailed to me. Low and behold I received this "official" looking letter from Country Crock stating that "all participants were selected through a computer ballot system drawn from 5,000 companies (I have a home based business) and 20,000 names from all over the country, as part of our promotions program, which we intended to conduct several times a year.) The letter looks very official looking. I may have entered a contest a while back so this may have been true (stupid me). The letter is signed by a Jeremy Strickland claiming, to be Shedd's Spread Country Crock's Chief Financial Officer in New York City. This gentleman who claimed to be "Jeremy Strickland" called me on the 21st of March, 2014. He sounded very official. He even instructed me to by another cell phone to have private conversations because my other cell phone could be hacked into. I did not do this. His attorney called me this morning telling that I needed to sign some documents before we can proceed. I also was contacted by this Tony Quintero claiming to be a customs agent at Miami International Airport. I also was promised that a FedEx package was being delivered to my address (which I gave him) (stupid me) but I had to pay certain amount of money, which he explained to me(sounded up and up) before I get my prize money) As I total I wired transferred $43,000. I am going to contact my attorney to see if he is able to get my money back. I think this is a lost course. Anyone else, please do not get caught up in this scam. It's easy to do.

My grandmother received the same call yesterday from "wounded warrior" saying she had won $656,000. That she had donated a dollar in their contest. They said they had been trying to find her for a year, that the taxes had already been paid, and (first red flag as you would still have to claim your winnings therefore you would still be taxed) if she didn't want the money they would donate it to the Negro College fund. (Second red flag, why not donate it back to your own charity) They then wanted to know if she would like to have the local news contacted to be there when she receives her check. They gave her a claim number and a check number, gave a local US number to contact in case she had any questions. (Which rings into an automated voicemail) The ladies name was Jennifer, and sounded super sweet! She said they would be at my Grandmother's house to give her her check tomorrow between 2 and 5. I'm just grateful for the 2nd Ammendment! Watch out for them they're getting smoother and sounding more legit.

I have all intentions of pursuing this matter as we lost close to 4,000.00 to these people claiming to be the Attorney for Shedds Country Crock and found us through the Wounded Warrior Project which we contribute to. I have called Shedds at least 6 times and was told they KNOW about this scam..I am holding them liable as to the fact they did not notify the America people about this scam and being a large well known company and also using a charity wounded warriors...I have a copy of the letter that I had faxed to me by Mr.Tony Quinteros supposedly head of customs at Miami Dade Airport. I have called FBI, FTC, Unilever, Shedds and also The today Show to get this SCAM known to the people. They have accepted to hear our problem. I WILL NOT GIVE UP UNTIL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE AWARE OF SHEDDS ,UNILEVER NOT GOING PUBLIC.I ALSO AM GOING TO START A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST UNILEVER, SHEDDS SPREAD ,MR PATRICK WILSON, THE SO-CALLED ATORNEY FOR SHEDDS AND TONI QUINTEROS THE HEAD OF CUSTOMS AT THE MIAMI DADE AIRPORT. I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THIS IS RESOLVED AND THESE PEOPLE PUT BEHIND BARS,PEOPLE GET THEIR MONEY BACK AND IT BE MADE PUBLIC..WHICH I WILL DO. I HAVE SO MUCH INFORMATION....MY ATTORNEY SAYS HE HAS NO PROBLEM WITH TAKING THIS. SO UNJUST THAT NO ONE...NO ONE HAS DONE ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. WE ARE STILL GETTING CALLS AS EARLY AS THIS MORNING 8/7/2013 FROM MR WILSON ATTORNEY AS TO THE FACT DO WE STILL WANT OUR PRIZE MONEY. JUST FOUND OUT HE IS NOT A MEMBER OF THE BAR ASSOCIATION WHOM I AM ALSO GETING IN TOUCH WITH.
I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL ALL DAMAGES ARE RECOVERED AND THIS SCAM IS STOPPED.IT WILL HURT THE WOUNDED WARRIORS AS PEOPLE WILL STOP CONTIBUTING BECAUSE OF THIS.
IF ANY ONE WANTS MORE INFOMATION JUST LET ME KNOW ON THIS SITE OR E-MAIL ME AT SHARON.53@LIVE.COM.....I AM SO UPSET THAT AUTHORITIES ARE JUST SITTING ON THIS AND DOING NOTHING.I HAVE ADDRESSES PHONE#s AND THESE PEOPLE STILL ANSWER THE PHONE                                                          THANK YOU

I am posting this as we lost close to 5,000.00 to these people. Believe Shedds Spread should have let the public knowthat They knew about this Scam. We have contacted Uniliverwho is the Company that represents Shedds Spread, the FBI, The FTC, and the man in Miami who said he was the customs agent and had our money...Mr.Tony Ouinteros....have spoken to Contyr Crock seveal times. Am getting ready to call Wounded Warriors to ee if they know that they are prt of this scam as it could hurt their ability to receive funding for their charity..as we are contributors and MR.Patrick Wilson supposedly the Attorney for Shedds Said that's how he found us..through wounded warriors. I requested a copy of the so called Congratulory Letter sent from Shedds which I have in my possession. FTC told me to call Attorney General.I HAVE ALL INTENTIONS OF BRINGING THIS PUBLIC AND IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN GOING PUBLIC WITH US PLEASE E-MAIL ME AT Sharon.53@live com. I AM NOT GIVING UP ON THIS. THIS IS WRONG AS SHEDDS SHOULD HAVE LET THE AMERICAN PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THIS SCAM. PLEASE LET ME KNOW.THANK YOU SHARON

Got a got today from this number left on my answering machine. Dummy that I was I called back to tell them to take my number off their call list. Foreign accent told me he was selling vibrators and cream to put on my cha cha. I hung up and he called back three times. I didn't answer. This would be ab obscene call. So much for the "do not call" list.

I received a call from 888 202-3363 , Robert Daniels indicating that I won $ 652,000 and was unclaimed funds.  Entry LS 9962.  I have no recollection of such entry that I made.  He indicated that a Fed Ex package was headed my way and that I needed a photo ID to obtain the package. He said that I must have made a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project that I don't remember.  The only donation I ever recall making was through CVS Pharmacy for Danny Thomas Hospital unrelated to this call.

Suspecting this is a scam, I called the FBI and they confirmed that it is and from out of the country.  They also said not to engage any further conversations with this operation.  And they are aware of this scam and calls.  They also said return calls do not net them good results.

He claimed that this was part of  a Country Crock  ( butter)  give-away.

He said the address was 1114 Avenue of America
New York, NY 10036

I wondered how they were going to send me a Fed Ex check without asking my address which I did not give them.  Now knowing this is a scam, I will be prepared.

Same call from Robert Daniels and Tony Quintiro US customs Miami. Wanted me to fly to Miami or transfer funds. Glad I saw this and Western Union (my bank) would not allow transfer. I am an idiot !

I recieved the same call as everyone else. He had an accent and said he was in Ny Ny and that his name is Robert Daniels. So sad that he is doing this, He even told me God Bless and I told him God bless for me winning the money! Wonder what is going to happen next? My so called money is suppose to arrive tomorrow by fed ex, I am not holding my breath! I would die before it shows up, lol. He sounded so legit too.
He told me I won it from Wounded Warrior too, I agree that it is a shame to use this name  for his illegal purposes.

Yep, me too.  Still waiting for my $475,000 from FEDEX.  Sick minds and greed cause some people to do strange things.

Once again, If it is too good to be true then it probably is.  Hope they get this guy and put him in jail for using Wounded Warrior and American military heroism for illegal purposes.

Got same speel and asked a lot of questions he had answers to.  But, I immediately called Fedex and they had nothing coming my way and verified that would not have a delivery time parameter either.  Amazing he keeps his first name of Robert but last was Daniels.  Using the same claim #MRA631.  Well, hope he's ready to be caught cause he tried to scam the wrong person.  Unfortunately those who will fall for this will never read these comments.

I receive the same phonecall (4/6/13). Well Today the man told me the money is at the airport in Miami, and they needed 2,845.00 to get the check. I hung up the phone. This is definitely a scam. Please do not fall for this. I don't understand like the rest how he got my phone number and my address. I was told by a lady that once you send the money, they send the box with nothing in it. So please be aware!!!

I received the same call today(4/4/13). Same info about Country Crock and the Wounded Warrior Project. For a sweepstakes I am suppose to be the "Second Prize" winner of $475,000.00. Said his name was "Robert Ditman" gave a claim# MRA 631. Got the same speel about donating to the WWP back in 2012
That I would receive a package tomorrow between 10am and 2pm from FedX and that I would need a picture ID to sign for the package.. And to also keep this to myself. I do not expect to received anything. I wonder how they are getting Phone #'s. Only asked if I worked what kind of work I did. I waited for the " It will only cost you" but never asked for anything else. I feel this is information gathering for possible ID thief. So be wary!!

The scam is to build your confidence- After a while, there will be a mention of "taxes", "fees", "Delivery charge", etc. that you will need to pay. When they have your name & address, then come the threats if you don't pay.

I received a call on Thursday, 3/14/13 from a Robert Ditman who stated that I had came in second place in a sweepstakes winning $475.000.00.  He stated that I had donated a dollar for Country Crock Butter last year in 2012.  I could not remember doing this but he stated that he was legit and that I would be receiving this amount money in a check from Bank of America through FedEx and that I could cash it anywhere. FedEx would be out tomorrow at my apartment between 10 am and  2 pm.  They never arrive.   He gave me my previous address which I question how did he get this information.  I did not get excited but I was waiting to see if he was going to ask for any money because I just saw scam on the news about people from Jamica calling people telling they have won the "lotto."  But he never ask for any personal identification such as date of birth or social security number.  I do question who is this person and how did he get my previous address which I do know people can access this information from the internet. He also had an accent.
