Received call from this number.  A man asked for me by name and then hung up.

This number has called my cell. I answered "Hello" twice, there was no response and then the caller hung up. This seemed very strange to me -- why would a telemarketer or whoever go to the trouble of finding my number, call my cell, and hang up? Furthermore, why not block the caller ID? Doesn't make any sense.

Got a call from this number and they even asked if this was Carolyn?  When I said yes, they hung up??????????????

got this call and I was too late to answer, but did *69 and this was the number. No message left.

I keep getting calls too, and I just called bookmaker and let them have it.  We are on the do not call list too.  If you go to the FTC site, the complaint form is really easy and fast to fill out....please do this so we can get these creeps!

got this call on a sunday ,no leaa-- did not get to answer-- but family reports same number calls from a food bank in fl--a for-profit food bank! stop already

Same number just called me a few minutes ago.  The guy said my name, I said yes and he hung up.  I registered with the "Do not call" list months ago.

They called me but I was unable to pick up, tried calling back, no answer. This is nothing but a pain and hassle, and I too am on the do not call list.

Just received a call from the same number.  Filed a complaint with the donotcall.gov website and it said that I can not file a complaint because the number was registered on 7/29/08 and they have the right to call me for 30 days.  If I receive a call after 30 days then I can file a complaint.

I went to the Do not call complaint web site and filed a complaint.  Here is the response I got after filing.

"The phone number 786-522-1040 was registered on July 29, 2008. Companies may call you for up to 31 days after that date. You may file a complaint if a company calls you after August 29, 2008.

Since I knew which site I just registered on, I went to their chat and informed them that I didn't want calls from that number. Also, I filed a Do Not Call request.

So I'll see whether or not there are any more calls within the 30 day grace period.

Received a call from this number. Unable to return call. I am on the Do Not Call list, but keep getting unwanted calls.

They constantly call and it is a computerized message asking me to hold on for a representative.

Since it wasn't here yet, and I have been getting atleast 1 strange call per weekend I did some digging.

Got a call yesterday from these b*****ds.  My wife answered and it was a female.  My wife asked who was calling and she said "A friend."  Then she hangs up on my wife!

The way to stop these people is for all of us to keep  call their betting line 800-873-6009 the number their customers call to place their bets, if we keep calling their customers won't be able to get through, the best time to call is during the 1/2 hour before games start.
