calls hangs up than when u call back it clames its not in survice

Calls every day, does not leave a message.

We are on the do not call list.  The guy on the line said that they are taking donations for the State Troopers "don't drink don't drive".  When i told him we couldn't donate at this time he said that he would send us the info anyway and if we decided that we still didn't want it then we could send it back.  I DON'T THINK SO.  People are such big time scammers and they are using other peoples phone numbers to do it.  It's sick.  It comes down to this:  If you don't know the number, don't answer it.  If it's important, they can leave a message on your machine!

This is a professional telemarketing firm named LAS LLC apparently based in Lakeland FL and is collecting for the  International Unions of Police, and is associated with the AFL-CIO.  They apparently have some relationship with the Florida Association of State Troopers, FAST.    LAS LLC is apparently a subsidiary of Civil Development Group of Lakeland FL, a fundraising group with a very poor reputation and  has been investigated and fined by  numerous state agencies around the country.  

The IUPA has a horrendous record for actually providing funds for legitimate police charities.  It was reported in years 2006-07, the group collected 4.8 million in contributions, of which only $53,900.00 to actual police charity recipients, that?s 1.2%.  The rest went to LAS and IUPA ?administrative costs,? including luxury hotel stays.

Called, Hung Up when ansering machine came on!!!

I believe it is Florida Association of State Troopers (FAST). They also use 1-786-866-2525, 1-786-876-2529, 1-786-876-5407, 1-786-876-2533, 1-786-5400, 1-786-866-5411 and probably a host of other numbers with 1-786-876-XXXX

D. Boyer called me.  When I told him I was on Social Security and could not give money or volunteer, he called me a bi*** and hung up. The number he called from was 786-866-5412.  I will be reporting to my telephone provider. This is ridiculous.

This number has called 4 times this evening and noone has been on the line.

We also have received calls from R. Martinez with hangup when answered.  I just received another about 5 minutes ago.  I found out the number is in the Miami area, type service is CLEC, whatever that means.

We've received several phone calls from this number and were curious about more information since the call was disconnected immediately after answering.  We don't usually answer unless the caller ID name is known to us; if they want to talk to us, they will leave a message.  But this call never left a message and disconnected when we actually decided to pick it up, which we only did because we were curious since the Caller ID showed "R.Martinez" as the name.  Weird.
