I doubt it, I have no unpaid debt and never have. I think Google has sold our information to telemarketers.

Useless, they do not help at all. Since i've been registered with DNCR my calls and spam emails have increased 500%. My sense is that Google is the culprit - you sign up for Chrome, they have all the information they need to sell our numbers, email and other information they garner regardless of how strong your privacy is set on internet, if Google has it, you are vulnerable and the Federal and State Agencies are powerless against companies to which you've submitted information such as Google, they cannot stop Google or any other organizaiton  from selling information voluntarily supplied by us.

Few minutes ago, TV News (Wapa) in Puerto Rico warned about this scam.  Caller asked the bank account number and routing number.  The reported tried to call back this number but no answer.

so they called a third time in one day, this time they said (in spanish) that they were calling from the phone company's yellow pages to confirm our listing.

i asked to speak to a supervisor and they put me on with one. i asked what company they were calling from and they said AXESA, also known as the Puerto Rico Yellowpages.

i flat out told her that they were not calling from AXESA and asked her again what company they were really calling from and they hung up. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!

they just called back and i got to speak directly to them. they claim that they are calling from "La Guia411". i asked to speak to a supervisor and i got Ingrid Batista on the line. she said that they were a phone directory calling to verify information. i told her to remove our number from their calling list and that they are listed as a company that tries to scam people on the internet.
'Guia 411' is a fictitious name filed legally in Florida. it is run by Kacey Crouch (1040 Biscayne Blvd #2104, Miami FL 33132) who has also registered the fictitious name of 'Merchant Services of America' and 4 other companies where she is the director; 'Level Twenty-Nine, Inc.' and 'Merchant Autopay Services, Inc.' both are located at 8532 NW 66th St, AP-001819, Miami FL 33166 and 'Dealer Warranty Group, Inc.' and '411 Business Connection, Inc.' (aka Guia 411) both are located at 1408 Brickell Bay Dr #1206, Miami FL 33131.
anyone interested should complain to the above addresses and ask to be removed from the calling databases.

It was someone in Spanish telling that I was apporved for some sort of insurance.. And yes, they sounded Dominican..
Any idea how to stop this?

calls people to confirm bank information, claiming its your bank, and then still your money. this people need to be put in jail, please someone find them.

This people call me everyday bothering ...like today they were say that they were from Department of Deportation of homeland security and that they needed money from my lawyer for the case... in which i got my lawyer saying thats not true..and what case..last time i check my status is US citizenship..even though i wasn't born here..so becareful cuz they call you for many reason like the other time it was from bank... so next time they call tell them you have trace the number and you are the police and we are coming to get you and then hang up.....thats what i told them ..suddenly they were screaming ......so becareful people is a scam

Called my house and asked my wife for our bank account number and routing number.   He spoke Spanish and said he worked for Verizon.   He told my wife he needed bank account information in order to send her some free calling cards that she had won.

I received twice a calls from 786-871-1210, and I'm not even living in the USA but I'm from Canada (province of Quebec).  So be careful, and thanks for those above who let the people know for informations like this warning others from those frauds.  Yest, indeed, it was first a woman (spanish) and the second time - a man - spanish too.

and ask for marizol, I try to call the phone and that phone was disconnected. please be careful they are crooks.

This number calls my friends husband every month.  He's been dead for some months now.  They speak no english, my friend speaks no spanish.  Everytime they keep tormenting her.  Could someone please stop them??

A woman called and asked my mum for ank info , she was rushing my mum to get the info , and when I answer the phone the woman got scared and hung up really quick ..TO this person you probably are reading this too...we are going to find you ......

I also received a call but despite the appearances, the woman on the phone was quite clumsy. After addressing me by my name she asked me what my full name was. I guess she should polish upon on stupid giveaways. These phone scammers must be stopped and put in jail. And I am going to report this to the FBI to make it happen.

A man called to my parents house and asked for my dad. He asked to my dad his bank account number. They have called ID and we tried to call back and they didn't answer this phone number.

Thank you to report it to the FBI, because when they called asking for me (I am Spanish), my boyfriend who responded to the calls do not understand a word in spanish, and I was away during the both phone calls.  I do not know where they get their information, because as far as I know I never made any kind of business or purchase from the web or any other way that would make me think that my personal infos would appear somewhere.  Very ackward !
