My brother was visiting  the island of Puerto Rico in the month July. That's when he first received a call from this phone number. He didn't answer. Then he started being threaten by Facebook. Two days ago ago our mother in PR, received a call from a man which identified himself with only a last name, Colon. He said that he was a friend of my brother send that he's daughter had erase all he's Contratista information from his cellphone and that he was a very good friend of her soon, and that he needed his telephone number. We, since he sounded so nice to my mom, she gave him my brothers telephone number. That same day, my brother started receiving threatening calls from a man, who indicated that if he didn't deposit $1,000.00 thru money gram or western union in an hour, that he had men awaiting in front of my moms house and that they were going to call and as soon as she would come out the door, they were going to shot her to death. The man indicated his he wanted the money send and to whom.... WELL GUESS WHAT....???.... MY BROTHER WENT CRAZY AND DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY INDICATED... He deposit them the Money....

THIS SCAMS HAS TO STOP.... THESE CRIMINALS ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF INNOCENT CITIZENS, JUST TO SATISFY THEIR DRUG HABITS...

Received a call from this number today. The caller identified himself as Michael, and then put a man named Colon on the phone, who said his street name was Barreto, and that he was in Puerto Rico. He knew my parents name and said that my Dad had called the police about a car parked in front of his house and that the police had come and arrested the driver and confiscated a gun worth $1400. He said I needed to give him the money for the gun or else he would kill my parents. He then instructed me to send the money via Western Union to Katherin Oquendo and warned me that if I didn't his guys were outside of my parents home and would level the house with bullets.

I reported the matter to our local police department who told me it was a scam, and asked me to report the incident to the FBI, which I did. The FBI asked me to report the matter to the Federal Trade Commission (1-877-382-4357) as well. I did so.

If you get a call from this number, please call the police.

The phone number belongs to a Roberto Betancout, aka El Negro. The phone number is used to tell you
that a family member is being accused of ratting out a drug dealer that is now in jail
and that they have the information of your family member and can access them right away
so you can talk to them. The caller will threaten you and ask you for money and that this money needs to be
delivered to a drug point on the Island of Puerto Rico.
Report the number to the police, this is a scam.
