En mi casa hoy recibimos una llamada de ese numero, con la misma excusa de la invitacion y el mismo nombre del tal Michael. Por lo visto no hemos sido los unicos.

Este numero aun sigue activo, ahora llama con el nombre de Micheal. Sigan reportando el numero.

Same scam happened today with my parents. The guy called me and after I told him that I knew about what they were doing he start using profanity against me I hang up.

Senior parent received call from this number, the scammer said he was a friend wanting to give an invitation and got her kids cellphone numbers and got her so engaged in talking she gave information  including where she lives. He called the oldest children's Cellphone that is a local area code....and said many graphic details and threats...that he had people at the entrance of neighborhood ready to go shoot at the parent home if $1500 wasn't delivered at X location.
Why is this going on for this long and nothing done? Are people no reporting this crime, is police ignoring the reports of this felonies? Please report to police and if they ignore to the FBI......if the get enough complains they will investigate! They are still using same number for death threats and extortion....and extortion by phone, computer or mail in the US is a Federal crime.

Este numero llama a la gente y le dice que es una invitacion de bodas y les piden el nombre y tel de sus hijos. Luego llaman a los hijos y les dicen que sus padres estan en peligro y que tienen que dar dinero para que no les hagan daño. No hagan caso. Simplemente no les den informacion. Ellos llaman sin saber ni el nombre y buscan sacar la informacion  preguntando muchas cosas. Obviamente, ellos no se identifican. Es un hombre el que llama, pero una vez llame para verificar la identidad y contesto una mujer que me pasó al hombre.

De este numero llaman a las personas mayores y se hacen que quieren entregar invitación de boda y piden los telefonos de los hijos. Luego llaman a los hijos (que son mayores de edad) y les piden dinero. Le dicen a los hijos que la vida de los padres esta en peligro. NO LES DEN DINERO. Llama a la policia y escriba un informe. Vamos a pinchar a estos pillos!

Elderly person in PR recieved call from this number asking for children's phone numbers. Then, they called children and asked for money or the parent's lives were in danger. THIS IS A SCAM. Report an incidents to the police. The caller was a male with thick Puerto Rican accent.
