I got a call from 800-000-1133, and they left the same message. The site really looks like it belongs to Verizon! But definitely a scam

My call was from 800 000 2212, same message. Told me to go to vzrewardsme.com. Very good looking website, asked for phone #, password, and pin or last four of my SSN. I called Verizon and reported it. I also looked into the website and found it was a Yahoo domain. Contacted Yahoo and the site in now flagged as fraud, at least in Firefox. The domain was registered on 9/1/2012. Here is the relevant info attached to it:

Voice said go to vzrewardsme.com. Page looks very good. Asks for Username, password and last four of SSN. I wish Verizon would publish a warning about this one!

Got cropped voice mail. Says ".com if you login to your account to reward your $100. At verizon week we are best you". Does not make sense.

got called at ~12:45 pm (few minutes go), didn't answer in time. Googled the phone number and followed this link. Has anybody contacted Verizon about this since it's obviously not them.?

got the call from 800-005-8769 asking if i wanted ti accept an account statement by pressing 1 or more info by pressing 2 i just hung up

They said there was a $100 verizon credit if I logged on to a web site. I thought it said vzrewardsme.com but did not find that page. There is a page vzrewards.com which looks legit. I think it is a scam for sure.

Answered and they said to go to www.vzdiscount.com to get $100 from Verizon. It looks like a scam to me because they want you to put in your acct #, password and pin or last 4 digits of social security number.

I couldn't answer my cell phone in time but the caller left a message, sort of. The first part of it was truncated, leaving only a few words I couldn't understand. My caller I.D. only showed the phone number; no company.

Couldn't make out the voicemail; plus, the person (or the recording) hung up after about 3 seconds into the message.
