I got a recorded message left on my mobile voicemail saying "This is an important message from QQ, please call back".  I just ignored it.

Message left by an a female with an American accent on my elderley fathers home number urging him to get in touch. The call caused him uneccessary distress and worry. He does not have any debts. His number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service.  I contacted the company on his behalf and spoke to an American calling himself Marcus. He was extremley rude and claimed to be looking for a Keeley Jones. When informed of the above situation he said he would remove my fathers number from their database, and hung up. I rang him straight back and told him that he was rude and that if any further calls were made the matter would be referred to the appropriate authorities. He said he rang off because he had removed the number and that their was nothing further to say.  My father has had a further call from the company on 19th March, which he has ignored.

They've just been trying to call me and was left a voicemail that didn't kick in for 10 seconds and it was an American accent on the phone. Do I call it back or is it a scam?

i keep getting the same keep ringing then hanging up something should be done to these company's

I've had 3 calls off these now, 2 yesterday and 1 today, all calls missed and no message left, not even when they carried on the call through to my answer phone. Oh , i'm in UK so this number comes up as +1-800-016-3106 ,  i assume both numbers are from same company, i will try to answer the next call and leave update when i can
