This number came up on my phone and I ignored it. 15min later it came up again so I answered it. There was a recording talking that either started the second I answered or was already running while the phone was ringing. The call only lasted a few seconds and didn't seem to be asking me to do anything but it was talking about me getting a credit on my wireless bill for some random amount, $401 and some odd change. That made no sense to me, my wireless bill is not anywhere close to that amount ever and I didn't enter any kind of contest or sweepstakes. And who picks such a random dollar amount? The recording did say something about VZW which is Verizon of course, and that's who my phone is with. So I called Verizon to make sure no one got into my account. Fortunately, there isn't any problem that Verizon find. I set up extra security on my account also. I will be watching my account closely for a while now, if I get another call or have any issues because of it, I will update this post.
