I have a LG800G Tracfone. I set my phone up so only people in my phone book can call through the rest are rejected. My phone does not even ring. I also never set up my voice mail so I don't have to check messages left by these people.

My phone is now old tech but I just brought one for my wife, now they are $10.00! What a deal. Costs a month about $7.00. It's not a phone for people who feel they have to answer every call or have to be on the internet all day.

These phone calls never bother me, they can call 1,000 times a day, I don't care.

Same as rdj, except at store phone.  "Federal Grant Money...blah, blah, blah" left on answering service.  BS...just like the Stimulus pork.

These people contacted me 5 times in 82 Days. They never leave any messages.

Received call on mobile phone which has a number listed on DNC list regarding "federal grant money" being distributed to "local businesses". Automated recording - doesn't respond until you say the word "hello". It said to press "1" to speak to a trained service rep. Pressed "0" and call disconnected.

Answered a call from this number, nothing but "dead air" silence, so after 5 seconds I hung up.

I received a recorded message about business grant money available this quarter.  They want you to press 1 for details.

Called repeatedly with some sort of federal grant scam. I have tried to opt out when I receive calls via robo dial but that didn't work. Finaly left my name and number, received a call back, spoke with a person and told them not to call, latter that day received a call from robo dial wanting to sell me the same stuff.

They will not answer but you can leave a message for each them (why not several messages?) to remove you from their list.

Called my cellphone. Automated message to get a piece of the bailout money from the government. Says press 1 to speak with an operator. At very end said press 9 to opt out.

This # called my business today & left a recorded message stating that it is a company that has government grants available to small businesses. They wanted me to press #1 and leave my name & phone # & a qualified representative would call me back. Sounds like a scam.

this number called again. I'll report it to NDNC again. Tired of these b*****ds.

Recorded message offering Bailout Money.  Total BS, like Congress.

We get this recording everyday! on all 3 or our business lines.  There is no way to make this company (or whatever it is) stop calling.  My daughter recently started getting this call on her cell phone.  All of our numbers are on the do not call list.  When you call the number back, you get a recording saying that the number cannot be reached from your calling area.

Multiple calls from this number telling me they have important news about my car insurance. They immediately asked for all my call details and when I question who they were, they hung up. if you try to call the number back, it says it has been disconnected.

This number calls our business but gets screened out as a "nuisance call" so I have no idea what they are selling or wanting, but they sure are wasting their own time and money well....good for them.

Thieves trying to find empty houses??

My phone is DNC-registered.
Call received followed by approx. minute of silence and no response to repeated requests to speak up.  They hung up after a minute.

When I called back they played a repeated message:

"We're sorry.  This out-a-zone (sic) watts can not be completed on this watts circuit."

I just got a call. I am registered on the Do Not Call list. No one answered.

Just called and left a message on my machine saying there was lots of FREE government money available!!! Yeah, right.

I have had over 40 calls this afternoon from callers dialing 1-800-202-2323 BUT they are reaching me on my cell phone!  HELP!!!

I got a call from this number January 28, 2009 and didn't pick up.  No message was left on the answering machine.

They called again today, no message left. Reported to NDNC again. F*** 'em.

They called and left no message, but when I called back the 800 number it was a French Canadian bank.  I don't remember the name.   Luckily I still speak enough french to understand

Recording suggesting there are millions of dollars in 'free money' available for businesses interested in free grant money.  Press 1 and leave your telephone number and name for them to call back.  

They call repeatedly, never during normal business hours.  The number that is available on the caller id is not a working number (i.e. cannot be reached from your calling area).  

Filed a complaint with the FCC.

Numerous calls from this number, no message, registered with Do Not Call list....tired of these marketers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got a call from this number. There was an automated message saying something about businesses having an opportunity for something. I hung up after a few seconds.
