Keep getting several calls a week even when they have been told to stop. We are on the "do not call list".

Called 5 times today, didn't answer once.

I have call blocked both 1-800-204-3708 and 1-800-204-3615 from my home telephone.  Also, I have registered 2 complaints to the Do Not Call Registry.  This is definitely the numbers to the Academic Funding Foundation. If we all file complaints with the Do Not Call Registry maybe they will eventually be stopped.  We can always hope. I am going to file a complaint with the Registry everytime I receive a call from this company.

I recently finished school and have been getting calls from 1-800-204-3708. The number shows up on caller ID, but it is "unknown." When I was away at school, they only called now and then, but now, they are very persistent, calling several times a week, sometimes more than once a day. When I recognize the number, I let it ring through, and there is no message left.

When someone does pick up, an Indian woman gives the hard sell. When I say I'm not interested, she asks why. I tell her it's none of her business. I told her not to call back. Let's see how that goes.

The DNC list law excludes "not-for-profits", though you can be sure these suckers are making lots of money off of people.  They call me 2 or3 times a day trying to sell their education loans.  They are harassing people.  We should write our state's attorney Generals and have them file actions under the consumers sales protection act and put these jerks out of business.

I received a call from 800-204-3615.  They have already called me twice before today.  I told them both times that we are not interested in debt consolidation loans. (We have a college student in the family.)  I found their number on my caller ID box when I came home today; they had called again while I was out.  They didn't leave a message, though, on my voicemail.

This company/organization is persistent. I'm curious to learn if the poster going by the name RL, who emailed them to complain, has been receiving spam from them, now, too.

I get a call from this number every day without fail.  The message I get is something like "we've been trying to contact you for over a month now.  We will be making a decision today..."  well they are not very good with decisions if they keep telling me that.

After seeing what other people are getting, it's probably because I just finished a technical school...  good to know.

Received a few calls from this number, but no msg was left on my answering machine.

Received call from 1-800-204-3708 on April 16, 2007 at 8:00pm.  Reported to the National Do Not Call Registry and complaint was accepted.

I received a call from 1-800-204-3708 on April 14, 2007 at 4:49pm. Reported them via website to the National Do Not Call Registry. The complaint was accepted.

I received a call from 1-800-204-3708 on March 8, 2007 at 9:23pm.

They called me on 3/8/07 at 2 pm.
I went to file a compliant at the National Do Not Call Registry and I received this response from their website:

WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT YOUR COMPLAINT
The phone number 800-204-3708 was registered on 3/7/2007. Companies may call you for up to 31 days after that date. You may file a complaint if a company calls you after 4/7/2007.

Note: If your area code has recently been changed and you receive the message ?Grace period has not expired? when you attempt to file a complaint, submit your complaint under your old area code.

Came across as "Unknown Name."  I never answer these any more.

We are on the do not call list but this call came through anyway

This number is from Academic Funding Foundation and they are peddeling student loan consolidations. They say they are a non-profit and maybe this is how they get around the the national no call list. Anyone know the rules for non-profit organizations?

They are dialing random number because they called my Sun Rocket VOIP signature number that has never been given out and is an incomming only line with a special ring. The good news is I found this site and I then logged on to my Sun Rocket web account and blocked their number. This is a really neat feature - just click on their telephone log record and they will never cross your path agian.

Toll Free ID Didn't answer

They called, I wasn't interested.  Hung up.  Short, sweet, and to the point.  If I need academic assistance, I'll call them.  They don't need to call me.

I called these people back and got a message that this was "Academic Funding Foundation".  They also use 800-204-3615.  Wrote them a stiffly worded email, so now I'll probably get lots of spam.  The "Do Not Call" registry means nothing to these people.

Caller ID was Unknown Name."  Did not answer.

The Caller id said "800 Service". I did not answer.
