this is not a hoax or a debt collector. They are a company contracted by a third party to verify information. For example they will verify employment dates, mortgage info (dates, balances, payment history). However they should not be requesting credit card info. This is a legit company.

This is a person calling to check on a home loan and wanted credit card info. and verifying balance of account. When I called back CBC NOVUS came up and then his extension would not go through or exist. This call is a Hoax, do not give any info. to them whatsoever!!!!
