I recieved a call  from this company a cpl of days ago and spoke with a Miss Stevens who was very help full she never once said she was taking me to court of any of that stuff she did say that she could put a "stop order " out so nothing as filed against me is this the same company do u think ?? concerned so I can take care this !!

I know this is a scam because a year ago they were calling my brother about me. They said that they had a summons for me about fraudulent actiivities. They were constantly calling and harrassing him. Leaving a number. So he sent me a message with the information. I called the place and one no one answered. Two I left a message with my phone number and reference number. I never received a call back. But now they are calling me on my cell phone for my husband about a court summons for fraudlent activity. My husband has been overseas for awhile. I think its funny that a year ago they were calling about me, but never say a word to me when the call about my "court summons". No they didn't tell me the name of the company. Plus they should have never gave me any information about my husband's "court summons". Plus she said that I can call and handle the issue, but that is not right I know I can't do this unless I have power of attornery. Come on, I couldn't call and ask about my husband's VA disablity benefits, but I can handle his supposed court summons. That sound ridiculous.

My mother recieverd a phone call saying they were looking for me to serve me papers etc. they left a message for me to call them back, my mother livs in a totally different state than i do, when i caleed the number back i spoke to 3 different people that told me 3 different things. First Mark Mann, second Ardo Adams and last Richard Lawson. They found the right one to try to scam this time though because my mother is a government offical, and she is PISSED!!!!!

Received this on my cell phone.  I called them and they said that a women named  Kimberly was wanted for a court order on Civil and Criminal charges for bad checks to JP Morgan.  They said where she lived and wanted to know if I would do my civil duty and pay over $1000.00 for her.  I said absolutely not.  They didn't tell me the name of the company.

Am I to understand that you work for this same company at the phone number given by all these complaintants?  If so, can you please provide the legal name and address of the company?  That would make it very easy for all parties who are contacted and look here to verify if this company is legitimate and if they should take their threat seriously.

the other day my step mother called me to tell me she got papers or an phone call looking foe me that i was being summons to court. but instead i called the number 18002110626 and asked for mark mann. he asked for my reference number that i gave him. but he stated he was busy and i told him i would call back, but said that he would be leaving in half hour. but i called back in 45 minutes and he didnt remember me at first. but why is the number starts with my initials. that seems crazy arealy. trying to get me to pay half of 1126.00 dollars. but he only needed my credit card to pay instead of money order. if they wanted money; money order or check would be fine. whatever take a hike and get real. but anyways i called the county court house that he stated and they told me that i didnt have a summons for nothing. good luck all.

I work for that same office .And not once have i heard anyone refuse to take a payment or require you to put half down. If you really want to resolve your debt PAY IT!.It is easy to say its someone elses fault truth be told you took the loan and did not keep your word as an adult....i know things happen to everybody but when you take out a loan and default off the first payment..how should you be treated?..Pay your bills and keep your word and this all will go away ...i know its hard to do but give them a payment plan that you can stick to so you can stop getting calls. I hope you understand that we have a job to do just as the garbage man and the kid at mcdonalds..i dont like my job but most of the time you guys dont make it any easier with lies and broken promises..so it might not be you who is a bad debtor but someone before you set the tone that you cannot be trusted...as well as it might not be me that has put a bad taste in your mouth..but other collectors before me..sorry

I keep getting these calls every other week, 1 week it is we are coming to your home and place of employment to serve you, then the next week I get the call saying since we couldn't get a hold of you to serve you we are sending these documents to the court in your county (which they could not pronounce, hysterical). I spoke with a lawyer he let me know that it is a scare tactic, and the only debt that can be garnished from your wages are government, like back taxes, student loans.
My message to you collection agency and fake law offices, maybe if you made a payment plan on what WE could afford instead of your set rate, you might get more people willing to pay. If you continue to say crap like you have to put half down this month and we will split the rest in 3 payments to take out of the bank instead of taking checks or giving us an address to send you a money order, you might get somewhere.

The same thing happened to me...my Mom called me saying that a Mark Mann is going file court papers and take away my car if I don't repay a bounced check from 2008. She gave me this phone number 800-211-0626 Ext. 102 to call. I called the number  yesterday and it doesn't give you a business name or anything and I only got "Mark Mann" after punching in the extension. I left them my contact info since I want to hear what they have to say for myself but they haven't called me back yet. What should I do now?

I did get a civil judgement against me for 1875.23 when i talked to the collector or scammer she gave me a payoff for 450 dollars i told her i know they are a scam company and told her i will take my chances in court well 1875.23 later look at me . i dont have that type of money. What should i do now ?

Ok Miss understood...well...I have NEVER (repeat NEVER) taken out a pay day loan, so why am I getting calls?  I have no need for a pay day loan.  Therefore, this looks more like a scam even more!  Sorry you are in this line of work, I would run away as quickly as possible if I were you.

i dont understand why so many people can act like they have not taken out these payday loans...they are messing it up for the people who really have a gripe ..like the ones who have paid and get called again they have a legit beef ..but the liars that blog because they are looking for a break do not help the collection business it is hard enough to collect because we are the bad guys..but the people bent on lying and believing their lies make it harder and harder everyday..these loans come with ck info ,ss,drivers lic.,dob, ref and relative info provided by the consumer themselves there is no fraud in asking the consumer to do what they said they would do when the signed the contract..im very good at what i do ..but it hurts sometime to see that collectors are scammers and crooks i go to work everyday like some of you out there and i am behind on bills also but when you dont pay your bills for yrs or you default on your bills immediately ..what do you want them to say to you anything they say to you is going to be considered negative because you dont want to hear anything ....so i am asking all of you what do you want us to do what do you want us to say? please send me feed back i am willing to use the info to help others because the nation is in debt and i really dont know what to do ..i offer 25% settlements and low affordable ppa at 50 mnth ..thats all i got but WE as consumers have to take a look in the mirror and admit part of the blame we have to admit our word(credit) is not good ..thanks and sorry you hate me

call saying summons to be issued.  No one by name at this number.  called back to ask to be removed.  got some smart-assed/uncooperative idiot who talked over me and would not let me give him my number.  finally relented then he hung up.  will report to AG office  it is a scare tacktic.

someone called by the name of   Jennifer Ansloan saying they wanted to get a summons served to me?   Fradulent activity on my behalf?   What a bunch of crap, why cant the scammers leave me alone and everyone else alone?   They need to get a life!

I received a call and so did my friend saying that they would be at my home and job between 2 and 4 to serve me. I should have a witness and an ID.

What tips did they give you?

Tell them the next time they call you will be reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission and the Attorney General of New York for harassing a non-debtor and making illegal threats. If that doesn't work, retain a consumer law attorney and sue them.

I got a call from a Rachel Rose who left a message with my mom telling her that I was going to be served papers as well and that she was going to report me to my county for writing a worthlesss check. I called the # back and was told that I had the wrong #, shortly after I got a call back now from a different # (716-989-0979) stating she was returning my call. She states that if i don't set up a payment plan she will have me arrested. What do you do to stop these threatening phone calls?

They used the name Sam Dean and left the number 1-800-211-0626 for me to call back. They say they are calling me to notify me they will be serving me with court orders at work and home. #1 why would they call someone to warn them and I never had a account at First Union National Bank EVER!!!! Just earlier this week a Sean Dean call leaving the same message but he had a heavy middle eastern accent and I am still waiting to be serve!!! PEOPLE STOP IT WITH THESE PAYDAY LOAN SCAMS!!!! I have file reports with AG and FTC as well as went to the locale police department ment to see if the could help in anyway. I called the local FBI office and the gave me a few steps to follow.
