Received the final white paper today ( got the pink one on March 22..)  Final Activation Notice. I ask you .. Activation of what?? I looked up the # but found nothing...  and what makes me laugh is I don't have any credit cards to consolidate. Paid them off years ago. and what catalog are they talking about... ?????

I received the pink letter yesterday also.. I do owe a loan, but in no way with the balance they state. It mentions something about a catalog?????? Reporting this to my State Attorney General Office also. I am so glad I saw your post.. It was upsetting to receive this since my bills are up to date . Thank you for putting my mind at ease...

Recieved same letter... a scam....

A simple solution. Get a copy of your credit report. Anyone who has an outstanding debt, or one that they did not pay, it will show on their credit report. Nothing on it? Nothing to pay.

Received pink letter from this outift claiming this was a second notice appearing to be like a debt collection agency. It stated I had a creditor balance of $18,000 which they projected they would settle for $10,260 and how conveniently, just payments of $392 twice a month drawn directly from my checking account.

They promise to do this without affecting your credit rating.

I knew something was wrong when I received the letter because I don't owe anyone $18,000 for credit card debt. I called my mortgage company who is located near this outfit to make sure there were no problems with my mortgage and escrow payments which are presently deducted once a month. I was advised by the escrow department they receive similar calls every day concerning letters from this company. They advised me to contact my State Attorney General Office. I plan to do so.

In my opinion these letters are deceiving and could easily defraud senior citizens.
