Ridiculous harassment. Simply turn down your phone's volume and screen your calls.

Annoying? Yes. But they cannot touch you if you don't answer. It might take several months, but they *will* eventually stop calling.

It is a number phishing group, trying to get you to prove who you are.
So they can get your SC and other ID
Not from any company some time it is other made up name
There may be 250 operators in a room, your name goes from one to the other, each guy goes after data.
Then it goes to next operator. If you argue you will prove you are not the right guy by supplying who you are.

Then they can clean you out.
Sometimes, they us the GAP there from Pakistan.

Someone from this number calls and just leaves a number to call them back. I have called back to let them know that whoever they are looking for has never lived at this residence. VERY ANNOYING!!!!

Calls all day, everyday, relentlessly

GE is one of the meanest of all the dirt bags.  Going to be  a long and hard road to travel to get rid of this dirt bag.  Even if they stop calling, they turned the account over to other dirt bags, NCO,and a couple others.  About the only sure way is try to get enough info on them i.e, witnesses or whatever you can prove,calling over the time limits etc and file a law suit.  No use in filing a report with anyone as these dirt  bags  are not scare of anyone except law suits.  You might send by certified letter a copy of a form that asks them to stop calling.  Form can usually be got on line at no cost.  Be sure, if you send anything to these dirt bags, always send certified and get a signature or else these dirt bags will lie and say they did not get it.  Even if do not owe what they say or they have the wrong number, they will continue to harass you for ever except for  a law suit.

We keep getting calls from 1-800-213-5077.  They never leave a message, they just hang up.  They call every single day and do the same thing.  Someone should be able to do something about this harassment!!  We should not have to be screening or blocking the calls to stop this!  Please HELP!!!!!

This bill was written off and is on my credit report.  Someone from India called and told me I have to pay 400 per month but I could not make that payment and they wouldn't take less.   It was bizarre

they have just started calling me out of the blue. i have had 4 phone calls in one day. i have no debt to them. plus, twice i've tried to answer and only get a  'stay on the line while we connect your call.' really? so annoying.

Yet another number for GE Money

It is GE Money calling about debt. I even paid my balance in full a week ago and they still call.

I keep gettting calls from them too. They just hang up when I answer. Lately when I don't answer they leave a message saying this is "Them" they don't use a name. They actually say "Them". When I call the number nobody I talk to can delete my number as a contact number for the person they are trying to get a hold of which is not me.

This is the most aggravating ...not being about to STOP this without answering the phone!  They call and call and call .... and I do NOT owe money so what the heck????

You're absolutely right about GE Money Credit being willing to hassle you at all hours of the day and night, simply because they subcontract such harrassing phone calls to a call center in India; which is well beyond our nation's judicial reach even if GE is the principal and they're only the agent.
