A Conya Anderson from CRS called my 93 year old mother in FL claiming to be seeking a "Ricardo Racquero". This company KEEPS calling her, even after she moved and changed her number, no matter how many times she tells them she has no knowledge of this person.  At least the 800-214-5307 is picked up by voice mail. I will be calling Ms. Anderson 2X a day until they take my mother's number off the list, plus I will make complaints with Attorney General in FL and TX, and FTC (FDCPA).  There has GOT to be some defense against people calling and upsetting 93 year old little old ladies.

I found this man on Zoosk.  I myself used to be in collections, but as a skip tracer. He immediately asked to my name and phone number.  I told him I am an Agent for the National Security Alliance Network/ Women Safe Center, which I am.  Did not think a alleged police officer would ask information like this.  I googled him and found this.  He was stupid enough to tell me his name.  I have called the NSA women safe network office.  Hopeflly this puts an end to this.

Consumers across the country report that they're getting telephone calls from people trying to collect on loans the consumers never received or on loans they did receive but for amounts they do not owe. Others are receiving calls from people seeking to recover on loans consumers received but where the creditors never authorized the callers to collect for them. So what's the story?

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:
Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.

Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.

Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.

Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.

Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.>

This woman "MONICA BRADLEY" or "Veronica Bradley" is a thief and is committing fraud. I have one great story. In short, for about 3 weeks randomly, I received phone calls from several collection agencies Asking for a Person, not me. Apparently this "Person" provide my number after I owned it to several collection agencies including Bank of America.  I called these collection agencies back so many times because I wanted to know who was using my number.

THEN, a "Family Member" out of State, got a message on their home voice recorder looking for "Me."  She said her name was "Veronica Bradley," and similar to what was complained above.

I did my research, and found not only did this woman link to one of the collection agencies that was calling me looking for "Person," not only did this company have an F rating on the BBB, BUT, Apparently Monica and/or Veronica Bradley is wanted for Child Abuse and is a big schemer.  So, basically, the Perpetrators messed up.

The Company(s) this woman and maybe Accomplices worked for where she has gathered her information, like from xxxx CABLE COMPANY, xxxx BANK, xxxx Cell phone provider, xxxx Equifax, Experian, all of them, should be punished not just by having to go bankrupt and victims unite to one company that buys all out for good, BUT all persons responsible should be punished by going through 10 years of the exact same irritating distraction, but they also will never reach any employee the company in the united states.

All should have a 30-35 yrs sentance of bad credit and 81 hrs of wasted talk time with international employees NAMED JUNE, JULY AUGUST AND/OR APRIL.

AGAIN CHECK OUT WANTED, SEX OFFENDERS, WANTED FRAUD VERONICA BRADLEY.  MAY BE THIS PERSON.

Thanks,

Someone named MONICA BRANTLEY called from 800-214-5304 and left a threatening message on my mother's answering machine.  Said that my case had "landed on her desk."  And that either I or my attorney had to return her call immediately.  Failure to return the call is an admission of guilt.  HUH ???  Guilt, what the hell is this crap?  First of all, she called my mother, not me.  Second, her threatening manner and tone greatly upset my mother.  I just finished filing a complaint on the FTC website.  I will not call this psycho-b---h back.

I just googled Greg Lewis CRS and here's an website that came up:

Commercial Recovery Systems, Inc. (?CRS?), a Dallas, Texas Collection Agency ? Search for Witnesses
Our law firm currently has two cases pending against Commercial Recovery Systems, Inc., a Dallas collection agency, related to alleged telephone calls in connection with attempts to collect consumer debts.  We are looking for people who have had experience with collection calls from CRS.  If you have knowledge about how CRS collects debts by phone, please contact attorney Michael O?Connor or attorney Jacob Jones at (214) 670-9989.

Hope this helps!  Greg Lewis is apparently a bottom feeder that is playing to people's fears.

I got a call from out of area number, it was from Felicia Johnson saying she was from CRS, a bill collector.  She was unprofessional, disorganized, slightly uneducated sounding, and had no clue what she was doing.  I do owe the company she was calling about, but the method she was using to collect was all wrong, and I have the distinct feeling this was a scam.  I called the number from another line while we were on the phone, it went to a vm stating she was on another line, but when I called, she suddenly got in a rush to get off the phone. As soon as we hung up, I got a call from a blocked number on the line I called from.  I blocked my number and called again, and got a vm with a different message.

My husband and I both both recieved phone calls from an unknown number.  The message stated "this is Greg Lewis, I am an Investigator who is calling you about a situation that has transpired.  The blaim has fallen back on you, and the guy (changes subject) call or have your lawyer call me back at 1-800-214-7838".  I called the number back from my work phone and it went to an answering machine stating "you have reach greg lewis, Investigator.  I am either with a client or on the phone, leave a messages and spell out your last name if its hard"....seriously?  I hung up w/o leaving a message and then amazing enough, the phone rang back but I couldn't get to it b/c I had a customer to wait on.  Then I googled the number and his name and found this website.  Will be turning this over to my attorney!!!!

Call says it is from a private investigator that is investingating some pretty serious allegations against us. If call is not returned, our family and neighbors will be called to find us.  It is a bill collector.
