This person has called off and on for the last 5months. When I answered he asked for someone who did not live here, he then said he knew they did and if I did not put them on the phone he would call the cops. I told him go right ahead. I't a scam

This person called the last time 7 months ago. Did not answer. Now they are calling again, I still will not answer, if they want to talk to me they can send it via mail.

Have you received any type of paper work from them?  They have not called me in months, and this idiot Mr. McAllister started today again!

No.  They are a collection agency of some type....obviously the worst type.

Caller left a message stating he has tried to contact me several times (this was my first call and only message from this person). He states he is "Mr. McAllister" and that his "client" has filed a complaint against me. He goes on to say that I have until 10:00am the next day to return his call or a subpoena will be served on me to appear in court. No mention of who the "client" is or the nature of the "complaint". I suspect this to be nothing more than a scare tactic being used by CashCall. I will wait for the subpoena.

I have received the same call and had the same thing happen with a rude message saying it was too late. I'm not sure what is going on. Have you been contacted by the sheriff concerning this matter or is this a scam?

A man named Mr. McAlister called my HR Department and let my company know I was going to be arrested for an outstanding debt.  When I ask what the debt is or who he is with Mr. McAlister becomes verbally abusive.

Received a call from the same number last Wednesday (day before Thanksgiving).  They said they needed a call back.  Have received several from this number, with a Mr. McCallister being the caller.  Called back today, no answer, but they called back and left me a rude message that "too bad, they had turned over the account to the sheriff's department".  WTH?  Nothing by mail, no idea who or what this is, but they turned over to the sheriff's department?

We have been getting spam calls from C.R.S. a company that supposedly is trying to collect on a debt, but all they ask for is a debit or credit card number. They won't give their address, they never send out mailings with proof of what they are saying. When you don't cooperate with them they get verbally abusive. They often call between one and four times a week. We have told them to stop calling but they continue. The number they call from is 800-214-7813. We have no outstanding debts and they call only to annoy us or to get a debit card number.
