He called me today, same story as everyone else, I would like to report him, but am curious why the secret service would be interested? They just weren't the first second or and guess of who I might contact. Thank you.

I received a voicemail on my personal cell phone just a while ago, the callers name was tracy rogers and said she was looking for kyle xxxxx-  (my husband).  She said the case # and for him or attorny to call the same 1-800 number I just googled to get this thread...I know my husband has debts so no telling if its real or not. Regardless they don't need to call my mobile looking for him on a blocked number. Not answering any blocked number.

I recieved a VM stating her name was Lisa Turner and she gave me a case number.  I returned the call two times and I get the voive mail of a Ray Clark.  I found by googling the number that several other people are be scammed by him.

I just received a message from a Lisa Turner calling for Ray Clark in regards to case #xxxxxx-xxx. It said for me or my attorney (as if) to call 800-214-7866. It sounded very "official". Glad I looked into it. Thanks to all who post!

Received a message from Ray Clark and associates saying I had been sued and for me or my attorney to  contact them. As I know I have nothing outstanding I am not going to bother calling back.  Tried goggling both the name and the phone number and nothing came up but this thread.

got same message from same number this week. also called my parents house 2 hours away. I googled a county clerk with this Ray Clark name... but found nothing legit. I guess its a scam. ???

So glad I found this site and ALL the info published because I didn't know who the heck they were.  Called MY number looking for an OLD friend I haven't seen in years.  Left a message but I'm not calling back.  Not me they are looking for.  Thanks for the info!

You are a liar. They are junk debt buyers and the debt is always past the statute of limitations. Do your research and go to court.

Be careful to check the statute of limitations (CHECK BY YOUR STATE) for a creditor to collect or sue for a past due debt. JUNK DEBT BUYERS have found a way to make money by scaring you into paying and causing you to re-start the clock on your credit file. Once you make a payment the day that is should fall off your credit file restarts. DO NOT let these guys abuse you verbally or treat you unhumanely. Check your credit report for innacurate information.

I recieved several phone calls from Mr. Ray Clark and he also stated that he was trying to contact me about case number xxxx-xxxxxxxx filed with the county clerks office. He never said what county clerks office. Everything he stated was very vague and open to speculation. He said that he needed to verify some information with me and that I needed to pay him money or face legal actions. They offered an immediate settlement if I paid within 4 days a total of around $2500 instead of the over $5000 allegedly owed. He stated that he was the lead arbitrator on this case and that I needed to get back in touch with him at 800-214-7866

I received a message saying call this # back regarding a case being filed with the county clerk.  "Ray Clark" threatening to send some case to Brad Boyd if I don't pay this ridiculous amount of money for some bogus HSBC account. I told him to send me the information in writing, then kept claiming there is no time. I will be served documentation, whether I'm at home, at work, at the grocery store, then they will garnish my wages if I don't settle the amount! I remained calm and repeated, "Please send me the info in writing--", when he interrupts me and yells "WILL DO!", then slams the phone down! So I called back to also request he update my phone # since he was calling my boss' #. Once again with his "will do" and hanging up. So I called back a third time to get his info and this is what he gave me:

I have no wages to garnish.  So, screw them.

I don't know about you guys but I just got sued and now my wages are being garnished so a bit of friendly. advice if you have a chance to settle your account id do it because they have started to get really strict. on these debt laws due to the bad economy.

I Finally spoke with "Mr. Clark" and he is nothing more than a mere debt collector sitting in his cubicle pretending to be someone of power threatening law suits. And he will argue with and talk over you like a 10 yr. old child. The debt he was claiming I owed I am completely unfamiliar with unless it was something I did as an irresponsible teen which was many years ago so I'm not sure why it would just now be brought to life. Never the less I shut him down pretty quickly when I told him he was calling my work phone and it needed to stop.

Many complaints about this outfit:

A Tamarac, Florida consumer alleged that Commercial Recovery Systems called her landlord on ?multiple occasions? and, on each such occasion, disclosed the existence of the alleged debt owed by consumer.

The consumer stated that CRS? representatives were abusive when they called her at work including telling consumer that she ?would be crying by the end of the week.?

CRS? representatives allegedly told consumer?s landlord that a ?legal complaint? had been filed against consumer when no such complaint had been filed.

Consumer also said that CRS told her that if payment was not made CRS would pursue legal action against her and garnish her wages although CRS did not intend to take such actions.

The federal lawsuit also alleged that CRS even threatened to take consumer?s ?family business? although consumer does not own an family business.

Received a voice message from this number. The female caller stated that attempting to contact me regarding a case that was going to be filed against me in my county clerk's office.  She never identified herself nor stated the company she was with. When I attempted to return the call I got the voice mail box of a man named Ray Clark. Something just didn't seem on the "up-and-up" with the voice message that was left for me, nor the background noise in the distance when I attempted to return the call. So, being an ex news reporter, I thought I'd google this Ray Clark to see what I could come up with. Thanks for all of theposts about this charlatan. Can hardly wait to talk to him one-on-one!

Received a all from this number, "Gretchen Lewis" answered. Refused to state the company name or business. Please reply if you know the company name. Very rude and had an attitude.

BTW I was not the person they were looking for.

Received a call saying, "This is an important call for Greg (last name) regarding account number ??????-please have Greg (last name) call back at " this number listed here. I called and  the lady I reached asked if I had an account with Bank of America, they were trying to reach me at a P.O. box that I had closed-they said they had sent me several notices, but it's funny I never got any of those notices. The lady told me that she didn't know why the notices never got to me, but regardless, I still had to pay $8000 out of $18,000 that they claimed to settle for. I told the lady I might be able to pay in payments-she asked if I could pay anything by this Friday-I said no, that I don't get paid now until December. She asked if I was on disability. I told her no, I get paid bi-weekly. She asked if I could send anything now, I said that I only had $300 something in my account and I needed it for rent to clear. She asked if I could get them something by next Wed. and if not, they'd take me to court, and I said I could make payments if they'd send me a letter to set me up-she got snotty and said they needed something "in concrete" before they'd send me anything. I hung up after she put me on hold.
