A Toni Warren called me today & told me that i had until tomorrow to pay a lump sum of $3,415.27 for a debt with GE Money Bank from 2008.
I asked her why hadn't i recieved anything in the mail & she said it was mailed to me & she was not going to argue with me on wether i got it or not.
Then tries to give me a settlement but no pauyment arrangement were allowed.  Very rude & threatened to file the petition to garnish my wages & hung up on me.
She then calls me back & asks why i called her office back & hung up on her.  These people are crooks.

Got a call from these creeps from a credit card 18 years ago. First they called my parents telling them that she wasa an officer of the law looking for me to arrest me. THEN they called my friends. Finally I got this idiots number and asked her what this was about. She was chewing gum telling me that I've been hiding from them and they have been looking for me. Which is funny because I live in the same house and have the same phone number for the last 15 years. I told her that I'm not buying the "cop will be at my door" b***s*** and asked her what this was about. She told me about a credit card from 18 years ago and told me that if it wasn't paid within 3 days I would be arrested. Needless to say I know the law, the statue of limitations had run out 14 years before and besides that I never even heard of this credit card. I finally told her that I have NO intentions of paying for a bill I didn't run up and since they refuse to show me ANY proof it's mine I consider this closed. BUT if they want to continue I'll be filing harassment charges not with the state, but with an attprney that makes a living suing these a** wipes..

Just like Irritated stated, if you get a call from these people file a complaint with the FTC.  They somehow got information about you they should not have.  It is identity theft and violation of the Fair Debt Collection Act.  I would also let them know that you have filed a complaint against them.  The more complaints the FTC gets about this company the quicker they can shut them down.

Wow,thanks to everyone who shared. This really annoyed me! A Nikki Bower stated that she had legal papers for me..WHAT?!? Up until now cannot get the details about this matter. She rang my phone three times straight after 6:30 pm,then sounds like she had chewing tobacco in her mouth while speaking. I know this is a scam because in my line of work background checks are frequent and mandatory and before this lady finds me,my boss would have already. Please becareful everyone.

I also got a voicemail from Nikki Bowser saying that someone was threatening ourt action against me in my county (and he said the right county name). He said I needed to call him back as soon as I got the message and his return number was 800-214-7871 and that he had the authority to assist me in resolving the situation. He never said what the situation was or what company he was with.

I have received 4 calls now from this Nikki Bowser. She's calling me before 8am (against collection laws), on my cell phone (not my home phone that is used for all creditors) calling from an unknown number and not disclosing her company name, or the debt she is trying to collect  on. I have not answered any of these calls, but her threats continue to escalate.

First it was that she was investigating for her client to see if they should file a judgement, and that she was going to be making the decision, using the last 4 of my ss#. Gave me a 'case number'.

The next call was saying she was going to file an affidavit of complaint against me and file a federal tax lien that will effect my 2012 taxes.

I called and filed a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). This is clearly fraud. The FTC agrees. Please, call in your complaints too and let's shut these a-holes down!

I got a phone call from an unknown guy who left a voice mail telling me to call back on this phone number. This is how the message goes: .... This is Nikki Bowser, I'm contacting ... a judgment that is to be filed against you. And the ... for your appeal is about to expire... I want to ...the opportunity to reverse the action by contacting my office at 800-214-7871. For reference, case #3480348. So when you respond to the call, we reserve in the judgment being finalized. Again, my direct number is 800-214-7871. Thank you.

I have no idea where this message is coming from. I'm thinking it must be spam since everyone else here have gotten a call from this number also.

It is a collection company, that is all I know.

and she said she was ready to file for judgement for an old debt -Citiauto - who had sold to Santander.  She said she represented Commercial Recovery Debt Collecion and that t if we don't make a payment by 5pm.  I asked to mail a check and said she could not accept anything but phone pay through check or debit.  I don't trust it and will demand it in writing at this point rather than to give my info over phone.

These people keep leaving harrassing & threathing phone calls and don't know who they are calling!

Got the same call from Simone Bell as described above. Guess she has nothing better to do with her time.

Lady left voicemail message (sounded like she's eating while talking).

"I'm looking for Cindy B-O-E-H-M-K-E.  Can you call me back as soon as possible or if you know this person either way someone call me back.  Our number is 1-800-214-7871.  Account number is 2761070".

That was a totally unprofessional message.  No indentification of who they are, what company they are with, and blatantly leaving someone's name and account number - which is obvious bogus information.

What a dumb a**.

Keep getting callls from a Simone Bell asking for someone I do not know and never heard of.  Leaves threatening messages and file/docket number.  Never answers when called back........refuses to remove my number from her files.  Filling a complaint with FCC over harrassing phone calls.

She is still currently at it. Just got the exact same call as mentioned about. Do they ever do anything with IRS or payroll or is it all a scam>?

Simone Bell is still at it.  Got a call from her indicating that they (not sure who they is) had filed an "unreported income" complaint against me with the IRS.  I could settle with her for a cash amount if I agreed within the next 48 hours.  Called the IRS and they had no record of any such compaint or filing.  I filed a "phishing complaint" with the IRS and they (the IRS) suggested that I call her back and ask for a copy of the filing.  I did, and what that got me was a great deal of rudness from Simone, so I had no choice but to hang up.

FYI......the first call I got from ARS was a "spoofed" call where they disguised their number as 1-800-829-1040.  This is an IRS number.  It is easier to trick caller ID than you may think.

I just received a call from this Simone Bell also.....said she is with CRS & Associates and that she has a judgement from the IRS against me for a bill I settled two years ago. The company that I settled with no longer handles auto loans and ironically, the amount that they want to settle with me for is exactly the same amount I settled for.  So.....when I advised her that I don't have any money, no property, no possessions and no job she reluctantly gave me her call back number, which of course is 800 214 7871.  Isn't there something that we as law abiding citizens can do about leeches like thest? Isn't there a way to find out who these people are & sue them?

just got the same call from Simone Bell same information stated on my voice mail, also stated that she has contacted my accounting dept and is going to take out of pay.  Did not state who she was from or what the charges where for but had to until 9/13 to call back and give recorded statement.

got a call from the same number has they others,800-214-7871 a Simone bell that i talk to stating twas a complaint against me. Nothing said about what the complaint was coming from,and how old the complaint was for.Call me on friday,had til the monday to come up with 6 grand,to sattle my case.it was never no Companie name offerd to me ,to see who was actualy calling me.

A Chris Stillwell calls my wife and leaves a message and tells her that  this is an urgent matter and needs her attention within 24hrs and leaves his number (1-800-214-7871) and say's this is a free phone call so she should have no excuses he expects to hear from her within 24hrs and left a Docket number as a reference number (27909288-55). No reason or where he was calling from NOTHING. This is obviously someone being sneaky so beware don't give out any information.

A Mr. Jones called and rudely stated that he needed a call before 5:30 p.m. or what? A Ms. Jackson also called from this number and stated she would hold the file for 1 additional month.  I told her to prove where she is from and have not received anything.

This woman called me twice in the same day and proceded to threaten me. She was extremely rude and said she will file a legal something against me and she was trying to settle some matter out of court. I am not even sure what this matter is or about and she didnt bother to tell me. I called her back and she was not around. She also left a message on my voicemail stating where I live and how much my house is worth. I guess this is some sort of tactic so she can threaten me or whatever but as far as I'm concerned, she is unprofessional and I wish I knew what company she is calling from. If anyone finds out, please post it. Thanks!

A Ms Jackson calls and says she has a complaint against me and needs me to call right away to get my side of the story. Then gives me a file number and this phone number to call back.
