Keeps calling my house, using several different people. Won't tell me who they are, and are asking for a Betty Grey. I assume that she is the person before me that had my number. We have reported them repeatedly, but nothing happens. Any advise?

Keep getting calls for someone who does not live here.  If I accept the call I'm supposedly admitting I'm the person they are calling for.  I want them to stop calling my number because know this person doesn't live here.  They call weekly.  How do I make them stop it???????

This 800 214 7870 keep pop up on my Mom caller ID. and looking for someone same last name with my family last name, I call back and the lady answer the phone did not give me her name (I feel so sorry for a person was born with out a name) get nasty and hang up on me.
I am already consult with my family law firm and we awaiting for that # show up on our Mom caller ID again.

Got a phone call from Paul Severino today. He left a message saying there was a judgment against me and that it would happen on Monday. When I returned the call I got a voice recorder. I will attempt to speak with him and get a mailing address from him. Maybe this will help us all. I don't think anyone other than the government can garnish wages from us in the state of Texas.

I ALSO RECEIVED A PHONE CALL TODAY FROM A PAUL SEVERINO, PHONE # 1-800-214-7872. I WAS NOT HOME AT THE TIME AND MY MOTHER HAPPENED TO ANSWER THE PHONE TO TAKE A MESSAGE FOR ME. THIS PAUL GUY TOLD MY MOTHER THAT I HAD MISSED MY COURT DATE AND IF I DID NOT CALL HIM BACK ASAP THE SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT WAS GOING TO COME AND ARREST ME. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS GUY IS TALKING ABOUT, I NEVER RECEIVED ANY NOTICE OF ANY COURT DATE OR WAS SERVED ANY PAPERS. SO JUST A WORD OF ADVISE, IF YOU HAVE THE SAME HARASSING PHONE CALLS, TRY GETTING AS MUCH INFORMATION AS POSSIBLE AND CALL YOUR LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THEY WILL TELL YOU HOW TO HANDLE IT. IF ANYONE HAS ALREADY DONE SO WITH THE SAME EXPERIENCE AND HAS ANY ADVISE FOR ME PLEASE MESSAGE ME BACK.

MARTI JAMESON IS NOT A REAL PERSON AND YOU SHOULD REPORT ANY CONTACT BY THIS COMPANY TO THE FBI, FTC, LOCAL POLICE AND ADVISE THEM THEY ARE VIOLATING THE LAW AND TO CEASE AND DESIST ANY ACTION.

It's either an extortion scam or a junk debt collector, they operate in a similar way.

If it's debt collector you can sue them if you can find them. If it's a scammer you should take steps to protect your identity and financial accounts.

I recieved a call at my office today from these people and they stated that we had missed a court date and that our wages are going to be garnished and my husband had been served and that the sheriff's office was going to come in and take our stuff.  I will contact a lawyer today about this.  Any advise??

Just curious... I had a conversation with this person this past Saturday. He absolutely scared me and made me physically ill. It completely ruined our weekend. He threatened to basically have all of our assets taken from us and have the IRS freeze our bank acct.. We do not owe the IRS, but he said he was going to file a form with the IRS and then they would come after us. He also disclosed debt information to a family member when he called them to get our contact info. This debt is from an old auto loan over four years ago. Anyway, I was wondering if any other actions were taken against you? I am filing a suit after speaking with an attorney this morning. Thank you for posting your experience with this person.

They called threatened lied, they should all go to jail... they said they were lawyers... a lie, they said they were the irs, a lie.. do not accept calls

We received a voice message on my wife's phone, from PAUL SEVERINO 1-800-214-7872 stating he is a mediator for the State of Texas who has a pending case against me. I know who I owe and what my status is with whom I owe. These people are full of it, trying to get to you with lies and BULLYING; stating garnishment on your wages. Intimidation does not work on me!!!  BE AWARE OF THESE CALLS!!!

Received a call from 800-214-7870 Stephanie who stated that they were going to file an affadavit against me. This is total Harrassment and will be delt with accordingly.

My mothers neighbor was contacted in regards to my mothers bank account still being active. They provided my mothers last four numbers of her ssn to our neighbor . (Which I know is illegal due and can file a complaint with FTC). Furthermore, MARY LOPEZ harrassed my mother and told her she has a lawsuit pending against her and she has to pay immediately. MARY LOPEZ demanded my mother to provide her with her credit card information to have the account paid for. The rep stated she did not care how my mother gathered the funds but she needs to pay (my mother is a senior citizen, unemployed and is ill.) I then contacted the rep and advisor of the situtaion and got escalated when I thereated FTC and advisored I work for a settlement company and hung up.

when I tried to find who they were collecting for she told me I was stupid and needed to talk to my husband or my lawyer

got a phone call from mary lopez too. she said she represented a company, but I could not understand the name of that company.  kept her to repeat it or spell it. she got mad told me I was stupid and that she wanted talk to my husband instead.  she gave me a claim number and told me to call back.  now all I get is voicemail

Got a call from Mary Lopez today, from 1-800-214-7872 stating she is contacting me for my sister, that a complaint has been filed against my sister...however she wouldn't tell me what it was about and she was very disrespectful and quite unprofessional and when I started questioning her, she hung up on me.  I called her back and told her not to call my number again.

GOT THE SAME CALL AS WELL VERY NASTY PERSON CALLED HERSELF MARY LOPEZ AND I HAD TO MIDNIGHT TO CALL HEHR BACK.... HER ATTITUDE WAS NOT CALLED FOR AT ALL...

They got my wife's number somehow and left her a voicemail telling her they need to speak to me because a complaint has been filed against me, that there is no excuse for me not to call them back, and that if I refuse to call them that I need to have my attorney or someone who has power of attorney over me to call them. She didn't leave a name nor mentioned who she was calling on behalf of. I called the number back and got a voicemail greeting of a man declaring it to be the voicemail of Mary Lopez. I left her a voicemail demanding who she is, whom she's representing, and what her business was calling my wife.

I told her I've instructed my wife to change her phone number, that I will NOT give her my contact information, and that I will only communicate via email to keep a paper trail of our conversations. I also told her that if for any reason we ever did end up talking by phone, that I would record our phone calls. I gave her an email address I created just for this situation. They have not made any efforts to contact us again since.

A word of advice to those of you who've gotten phone calls from any of these people threatening garnishment of your wages--it is illegal for them to even tell you that and it is also illegal for debt collectors to garnish your wages at all. If you've been threatened with garnishment, you need to contact your attorney because you can sue them for threatening to garnish your paychecks.

I received a call from Greg Lewis as well saying that he has a judgement (which there is none) and intends on garnishing my wages.  The debt in question I have disputed and asked for all documentation for over two years.  I have sent certified mail requesting this information and have never received so no judgement would be awarded by a court.

I keep getting calls from Simone Bell saying shes going to garnish my wages, I could have to do a tax amendment & they are serving papers on me at work.  I probably do owe someone but I dont have any money to pay anyone back right now. They make me feel like Im going to jail.

They have the wrong number and keep calling my teenage daughter's cell phone looking for some woman.  She has even called back and left a message and they still keep calling her.  They are even calling her when she's in school.  So irritating!  They just called and my daughter said, "Alma needs to pay her bills. I'm tired of these people calling me for her."

Got call from this number atleast 4/5 times in a week and it always says its looking for someone named Jeff. I called back the number (for 2-3 times it appeared that phone line is not even in service, but on third attempt it rang) and talked to someone about it. Lets see if it stops now.

i got a very nasty called from Mr. Greg Lewis, stating that I or my attorney must call him before the close of business.  No other information was provided on the call.  When I called the number, Mr. Lewis stated that i had an outstanding obligation and i had refused to pay.  i stated that i had no outstanding bad debts and my credit rating was outstanding.  He insisted that their investigator had found the correct person with my full name, but i said hundreds of people have my very common name.  When he said the person was born in 1961 -- i stated i was in high school in 1961.  He ended the conversation by hanging up on me.

I believe it to be Commercial Recovery Systems,Inc.,said they were an attorney and intend to garnish my wages.I do not have a judgement against me,although he (Greg Lewis) said I do.
