This call says I have a legal matter with some sort of id# with a Wesley Johnson.  I don't have anything anyone should be calling about sooooo.......they need to leave me alone.  I do not answer calls I do not know.

How did this go?  I am receiving the same phone calls and my husband is getting worried and wants to pay them for a debt over 7 years ago.

Hmmm, no reports for 3 months and now starting up again? I do not answer unknown callers. Legit callers will leave messages, so I dont have to worry about losing a valid call. But I do come here to check it out. Based on the reports, sounds like a real loon!

I got a call from 214-324-9575 saying they needing either me or my attonery to return "Mr. Johnson" call at 800-214-7891. Regarding "a stituation that direclty pertains to me" totally bogus. What kind of explanation is that!!!! Because they never mentioned an attonery's office name or even a company name. Do not return their calls. Total scam!!

A "Mister Johnson" or he could have said Richard Johnson (hard to tell because he mumbles) posing as an attorney (mistake #1) left a phone message (now evidence) on my answering machine Sept 18th leaving a bogus court case number (mistake #2) stating that he filled out paperwork on Sept. 17 and threatened (mistake #3) that he would be filing it "in the local courthouse" (wherever that is) on the 21st unless I call him back and agree to pay him.  He did not disclose who he works for, where he was calling from, the amount of the alleged debt owed nor the name of the original creditor.  I have not had a credit card or any loans for over 10 years due to divorce, so any debt I allegedly owe would be long past the statute of 4 year limitations in my state and re-aging a debt and filing a lawsuit is illegal and will not fly.  Mr. Johnson has violated at least 3 points of the FDCPA and I will be turning all this information and evidence over to my attorney this afternoon.

THEY ARE COMMERCIAL RECOVERY SYSTEMS AND THEY KEEP CALLING MY MAN AND IM A BILL COLLECTOR SO THEY MESSED WITH THE WRONG ONE... THE BILL WAS PASS STATUE OF LIMITAIONS AND THEY THREATEN A LAW SUIT.. THEY ARE IN TX

The only person who had this number on file for me was ACS a student loan company.  Anyone else having this problem?!

Receiving annoying calls (about 4) from mr. johnson, claims he is about to take court action for some company that he refuses to identify. Sounds bogus to me. I'm just saying, anyone who is trying to collect a legitimate debt will be more than happy to state name of company and amount of debt.

Guy left message with this number as the contact. He talked fast and mumbled, especially when saying who he was calling for, but I he said "The offices of <mumble>" and later said to contact Mr Johnson at this number. The actual caller ID showed as 1-214-319-5346 with the name "*TEXAS". He said something about a case number and needing to contact someone who has my same last name, but they don't live here. He said he needed to contact them or their legal representative.

Keep getting harrassing phone calls from a "Mr. Johnson".  I have asked this company to remove me from their calling list as I have no credit cards or debt so it is physically impossible for this to be a "debt collection" phone call.  He actually answered the phone as, "Wrong number hotline, how may I help you?"  What an idiot!  Glad they only pay telemarketers minimum wage.  ha ha ha ha ha!

leaving misleading messages saying its about a pending affidavit against me.. leaving me a bogus leagal case number.. also threats about taking action in court but calling from an unknow number and wouldnt tell me what or who this is for..

My sister is receiving harassing and unprofessional telephone calls from a Richard Johnson. He refuses to release the name of company and is calling in a demeaning manner..
