It's a recorded message from Comcast letting me know that I qualify for a replacement modem for my internet service with them. It's legit as I've also gotten a letter from them with the same messaging.

Called them back. They said they are a telemarketing company hired by comcast. They admitted to placing the call, but stated that they are unable to process a DNC request, nor provide their own mailing address. They identified their own company name as "digital globe services"

Looked up the RespOrg associated with the number. It is: UNILINK TELCOM INC.  Their number is 1-800-864-5465. I called them and they got very upset that I had the nerve to call them with a complaint.

I will ask my VoIP provider to block future calls from these creeps

I received several calls from this number. They were just courtesy calls from COMCAST reminding me of a pending service appointment.

this is a legit comcast-related call.  I was working with a customer service rep via their support forums and provided my cell, he called with this number as the ID. no scam, no sales pressure, just good customer service (it's a business account, I know their residential service leaves a lot to be desired).

They have been calling me all day too. Starting with early this morning, when they woke me up. It's a robo-call and it takes a long time for someone to come to the phone after I answer. I let it go to voicemail several times, but they do not leave a message.  When I do answer, they will not explain why they're calling. They just keep asking me for personal information.  PLEASE if anybody knows how to make this stop, let us know!

Sales pitch calls me 3-6 times a day!

Digitalmojo is a third-party company that sells services for a lot of different telecommunication companies. Comcast, AT&T, Dish, Direct TV and so on. They use what is called a 'one-off', a number that is one of from the real number to get calls that were misdialed. They DO have contracts with these major companies to sell there services, however I would never purchase anything through them based on the fact that they recently laid off all of their San Diego employees to ship the jobs overseas claiming they 'had to do it to save the company'. They make money hand over fist pretending to be the actual company you called. This company is EXACTLY what is wrong with this country, greed over need.

If they keep calling you there must be a bug in te system - Get a hold of Comcast and inquire.

beep and noise and no message.  Could be comcast.  THough I pay all their bills they want to be PREpaid a month out it seems.  Jerks.  And their reminder system is broken.

The number 1-800266-2278. It is Comcast bill pay reminder. When you sign up for anything that has a bill payment. never gove them a real cell or business or fax number. They will hound you. I had an  $129 bill. We moved. the bill was approx $40 technician and two months at $44 present and advanced. I made a $60 paument on the cruise ship. It went to my old account. They reversed in and said unless I paid the past due of $129 whickh was wrong I would get 4 calls a day unless I overpaid thru February and then waited fof a credit. BS. They are very rich, they pay there phone operators squat and to the help desk %50 to Mexico and middle ast and pay $3.00/hr labor no menefits then take your money and live the rich life on the middle class. True Story

This calling every few minutes is annoying.

Scam trying to claim that Comcast account is past due and scheduled for disconnection. Although calling the 226 number says it is Comcast, the real Comcast 266 told me that it is not the company's number and my account is fine, not scheduled for disconnetion. Red flag popped up when the guy asked for my bank acct number and routing number. I reported the scam to Comcast along with the phone number and they are going to pursue...

This company is called Digitalmojo. they are a third party who want to sell you stuff. but all they do is create leads for the real company. They are neglectful towards their employees so don't expect a warm welcome when you call. They cannot give you any good pricing by the way so if your looking for a deal you should call the main line. just remember Digitalmojo or Gobroadband... go ahead and google them their address is listed. Take care everyone.

This company is evil whoever they are they claim to work with comcast.. the gal on the phoen was being quite rude so I asked for an I.D. number they told me they don't have those. what company doesn't have an ID number or something to keep track of their employees? I called them a couple times and I keep getting foreign people who are also very rude. I would stay away from this company if I were you.

800-226-2278. Also calls with the number 888-266-2278. This number calls me. If it goes to voice mail I sometimes get no message. sometimes I get a very long message of background noise only then a hang up. A couple of times when I answered this call, I go long pauses then a hang up, and a couple of times I answered this call, I got a pre-recorded messages saying, thank you for calling Comcast. Yet I did not call them, they called me. The call my cell phone which is on the Do Not Call list. They also call my 2 home phones, both on separate numbers, and my business phone, a different fourth number. My cell phone and business lines are in separate area codes than my home phones. They call three different area codes and four different numbers, and I have yet to speak to any live customer service agent. So far I have gotten more than a dozen calls in the last three days
